I was particularly impressed with the bubbles in this product. The foam density seems high, making it firm yet soft. It's convenient because you can cleanse directly without having to lather it in your hands. The simple packaging design is both pretty and practical, and it dispenses just the right amount of foam. At first, I thought the yuzu scent was too strong, but after using it about three times, I've grown to love it. This is my first time using a morning-specific cleanser, and I can see why it's recommended for mornings. The bubble foam doesn't feel heavy, and the yuzu scent is perfect for waking up. My skin tends to get very dry in winter, but after cleansing with this Alaska bubble foam, my face doesn't feel tight at all. I really appreciate how it maintains moisture. The cleansing effectiveness seems just right for gently washing away the slight oiliness that builds up overnight.
ConsI'm a bit disappointed that it contains fragrance. With so many unscented products available these days, the addition of yuzu scent is somewhat concerning. Even though they claim to use allergy-free fragrances, the word 'fragrance' itself still makes me uneasy. People who don't like citrus scents might find this product's fragrance overwhelming, as it's quite strong. Also, being a bubble foam formula, the product seems to run out quite quickly.

It doesn't detract from bathroom decor. The clear design makes it easy to check how much product is left. Pump Convenience: Among pump-style containers, some can be frustratingly stiff to use. This one, however, has an incredibly smooth pump action. A gentle press with your thumb is all it takes for the product to flow out effortlessly. Smooth as can be. Foam: When dispensed, the foam is firm enough to hold its shape like ice cream. It has a fine texture with small bubbles. Rather than being sticky, it's a soft and rich lather. You don't need to rub hard; just gently rolling it on ensures it reaches every corner of your face. Cleansing Effectiveness: It cleanses surprisingly well, leaving skin feeling fresh and clean. This was achieved without vigorous rubbing. Ingredients: The slightly acidic pH is pretty standard these days. According to the Hwahae app, the ingredients look good overall. Not sure if it's due to changing cleansers, but the blemishes around my nose have subsided. That's a win! Cooling Effect: To be honest, I barely noticed it. This is actually a good thing because I'm using it in winter, and a strong cooling effect would be uncomfortable. I dislike intense cooling from added mint, but this product doesn't have that at all. The image below shows the sleek product container and the foam's consistency when dispensed and held vertically.
ConsScent: It has a tangy smell reminiscent of yogurt-making... It's similar to the scent of probiotics. When first squeezed out, it smells fruity, but during face washing, it has a subtle apple cider vinegar-like scent. Why is this a downside? The only concerning ingredient is artificial fragrance, and if it was added for this scent, it seems unnecessary. Unless it's going to become famous for an incredibly pleasant fragrance, I'm not sure if adding a potentially irritating ingredient for this scent is worth it. Deep Dryness: This might just be me. Other reviews mention how moisturizing it is, but I found that while my skin felt hydrated immediately after washing, it quickly felt tight from deep within if I didn't apply something else soon after.

For evening cleanse, I use Witch Factory cleansing oil followed by a foaming cleanser with Sidmool Tea Tree cleanser in a foam dispenser for double cleansing. I have dry skin without major blemishes, but I do get small bumps occasionally, so I focus a lot on hydration. I applied for this event because it's marketed as a morning cleanser. I wanted to try it on days when I'm staying home or not wearing makeup. Photo 2 - One pump Photo 3 - Three pumps What I liked right after using it: ☝🏻The price is good. Of course, there might be cheaper options, but I think this is affordable enough to purchase without hesitation. ☝🏻Clean packaging and generous volume. When I opened it, it felt substantial, and I saw it's 200ml. ☝🏻It's convenient for me as I use a foam dispenser. Not having to pump separately is a big advantage. ☝🏻The foam is soft. It's not very dense, and it glides smoothly when cleansing. ✈️I'll come back with more feedback after using it a bit longer. Update: I've been using it for about a week. Maybe because I wasn't used to morning cleansing before, but my skin condition seems worse. It feels like more sebum is coming up, so I've stopped using it. Those with good skin might not need to worry much. The ingredients are gentle and mild, which is good, but it's unfortunate it doesn't suit me.
Cons👎🏻Although I have dry skin, I didn't feel much tightness after cleansing before, but with this product, I do feel some tightness. Those with very dry skin might find it quite drying. 👎🏻The artificial fragrance is unpleasant. I'm not happy about the added fragrance, and the scent doesn't suit my taste. I wonder if it was really necessary to include fragrance.
