It's really effective!
ConsEvery time I use this product, it leaves a residue that feels a bit sticky. If you have sensitive skin, it might cause redness, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with super sensitive skin.

Perhaps that's why I haven't noticed any significant effects. I don't see much improvement in pore size or skin texture. The formula has a viscous consistency, leaving a mix of stickiness and slipperiness. However, it applies beautifully and moisturizes well. After absorption, my skin feels firm and makeup goes on smoothly. I think this would work well for those with dry skin.
ConsIt doesn't absorb quickly and leaves a slippery, sticky residue. Those with oily skin might find it makes their face look shiny, and the slow absorption could lead to pilling. Personally, I even experienced some blemishes from it, which is why I didn't reach for it often. I wouldn't recommend this for people who dislike residue, those who don't like oily textures, or individuals with oily skin!
TipThe high oil content seems to disrupt the oil and moisture balance of the skin. To counter this, I place oil blotting paper on my face after application. This helps prevent blemishes. On days when I didn't use blotting paper, I noticed some minor breakouts. I recommend using it in conjunction with oil blotting papers!

It has a delightfully bouncy texture and absorbs well into the skin.
ConsThe slight residue makes it a bit difficult to absorb fully, and there's a faint medicinal scent.

The affordable price made it easy to try out.
ConsOne downside is that it leaves a sticky residue on your hands after application. Also, while I've heard it works well for those with large pores, people with average-sized pores might not notice much of a tightening effect.
TipSince this has a firm texture, if you apply other products on top without letting it absorb properly, it can pill. So either apply this first, or make sure to let it absorb completely before layering other products!

I bought Frankly when it first came out and I've been using it comfortably ever since. —————— 🧏🏻♀️ SKIN TYPE Dry / Redness, dark spots, dark circles, uneven texture, whiteheads, milia Skin tone #23 / Long-wearing makeup / Mild atopic dermatitis —————— Pros - Smooth and rich texture It has a nice viscosity! The slippery, rich gel-like texture glides on smoothly. It should be gentle enough for those with sensitive skin! However, you do need to make sure it absorbs well. - Decent pore-minimizing effect Photo 1 - Taken after one day of using another product that caused blemishes Despite the blemishes, my pores are usually not visible with or without flash... Photo 2 - Two days later, showing enlarged pores Photo 3 - Taken immediately after applying this product 3 times My pores are usually so small they're barely visible up close, but after using another product, my skin deteriorated and my pores suddenly enlarged... Shocked, I quickly applied this product (about 3 layers) and noticed a slight improvement in pore size. This could be partly due to the ampoule ingredients, but I saw a small reduction. Consistent use should yield even better results, right? I hadn't noticed much before, but I think regular use of this serum has been maintaining my small pores all along. - Great value for the amount Considering other products are usually $15-30 for 30ml, this averages about $6 for 30ml or $10-15 for 60ml, which is really affordable for the quantity! Plus, it's effective, so there's no reason not to use this serum. Very cheap products often have different formulations or ingredients that make them less effective, but this serum definitely delivers value for its price! You won't feel like you've wasted your money. I think I bought the 60ml for under $10 during a sale, so I recommend looking out for good deals!
ConsCons - Sticky residue While the rich texture is a plus, it does leave a sticky residue. It's a bit difficult to apply makeup right after, so I only use it in my nighttime routine. When I use this serum at night followed by a nourishing repair cream, I wake up with quite a bit of residue from both products still on my skin.
TipTIP Make sure to massage it in well, following your skin's texture for proper absorption! If you're using a device, a wider one might be easier than a thin one due to the viscous texture. (However, I'd most recommend using your hands) I'm curious about the Green Tomato Ampoule from The Skin Editor, so I'll write a comparison review soon!
