As someone with skin that's perpetually tight in winter, I tried the Laneige Water Bank sample set (5 items) I had at home. I definitely felt an improvement in my skin's dryness. It's great that they have a specific formula for combination-dry skin. The moisturizer absorbs well with a nice texture, and while there's a slight rich feeling, it's incredibly lightweight. I also loved that it wasn't sticky at all. For those with dry skin like mine, I'd recommend using the same line in this order: toner, serum, emulsion, and cream. This layering technique seemed to keep my skin hydrated for longer. When applied around the eyes, it can feel a bit heavy. This is really disappointing. Among this line, only the emulsion and eye cream felt uncomfortable around my eyes, so I'd consider purchasing the other products excluding these two. - pp***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsJan 8, 2025
For a random purchase, the absorption wasn't bad and it didn't pill too much. Overall, it wasn't terrible. Please keep in mind that I have very sensitive, dry, atopic skin. I bought this product in a hurry from a nearby cosmetics store when I ran out of my usual Physiogel AI Cream. They recommended it for dry skin. When I was using Physiogel, I rarely got acne and only had hives on my face when my skin was in really bad condition. However, as soon as I started using this product, my face felt hot and hives appeared. At first, I didn't realize it was because of this cream and applied more for hydration, but it only got worse. I thought it would be better not to apply anything at all, so I'm not using any products until my Physiogel cream arrives, and my skin is actually improving. I'm not sure which ingredient doesn't agree with me, but this product really doesn't suit my skin. My entire face is red and bumpy with hives, and feels hot. Makeup doesn't even apply well now. I regret buying this. - ha********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 5, 2024
As someone with dry skin, this product caught my eye, and I'm glad I tried it. It seems to provide a deep, rich hydration that I really appreciate. There's hardly any scent, which is nice. I find myself reaching for it often. I've almost finished the entire jar, so I'll definitely be repurchasing. While I don't have any complaints personally, I should mention who might want to avoid this product. Since it's clearly designed for dry to combination skin, those with oily skin should steer clear. Even among those with dry skin, if you don't enjoy a rich moisturizer in summer, you might want to reserve this for spring, fall, and winter use only. - ky*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 30, 2024
Effectiveness: - Excellent lightweight hydration Texture: - Typical emulsion texture, but feels a bit lighter Lasting power: - Doesn't form a heavy film like some moisturizers, but maintains decent hydration except in harsh winter Scent: - Subtle fragrance that shouldn't be polarizing Might not provide enough moisture for very dry skin in the dead of winter if used as the final step in your skincare routine - je******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 18, 2024
This product is so lightweight that I find myself reaching for it often. It's an emulsion type that can be particularly useful for those with dry skin like me! It absorbs well, giving me the feeling that it effectively combats deep dryness. The frequent discounts make it budget-friendly, and the generous amount means I've been using it for a long time. The beautiful packaging is just a bonus! There's not much to complain about, really. But if I had to pick something, I'd say the scent is neither particularly good nor bad. It's just... fresh, I suppose? - po*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 10, 2024
I was impressed by how lightweight it felt while still providing excellent hydration It was a bit disappointing that towards the end, some of the emulsion remained stuck inside the container, making it hard to use up completely You probably don't need to apply a large amount to get good results - ja********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 12, 2024
As someone with dry skin, I find this product adequately moisturizing. Above all, I'm really fond of the beautiful packaging. The scent might be polarizing as it's quite strong. It seems a bit too intense for my liking. - ps*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 29, 2024
It pairs wonderfully with the toner from the same line. The cream applies smoothly and leaves a non-greasy finish, making it a go-to choice year-round. It also absorbs well into the skin. When used alone without the toner, it doesn't seem to address deep dryness effectively. I highly recommend using it together with the toner from the same line for best results! - sy********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 28, 2023
It's a comfortably hydrating toner that's easy to use on a daily basis. It doesn't feel extremely moisturizing or tackle deep dryness. I think a cream skin might be slightly better. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 24, 2023
As someone with combination to dry skin, I've tried various products. This one applies smoothly and I've been using it without any blemishes appearing. It doesn't give an intense burst of hydration, but it's just right for combination to dry skin types.
