For a product that's so easy to use, the panthenol content is quite impressive. The texture is completely non-sticky and matte. I often use it as a lip balm substitute. Since I have a habit of picking at my lips, which can cause stinging, applying this quickly soothes them. The scent is also lovely - a subtle, fresh citrusy fragrance that's very pleasant.
ConsThe formula is quite soft, so it gets used up quickly. Given that the price isn't particularly budget-friendly, this aspect is a bit disappointing.

It's super convenient to use - just swipe it on without getting your hands messy! As someone with naturally dry skin who prefers a solid skincare routine, I love that this balm-type product feels like it adds an extra protective layer without making my skin feel suffocated. Surprisingly, it's quite comfortable. The scent is pleasantly subtle, and it's said to have a soothing effect on sensitive skin. I'd definitely recommend this for those with dry and super sensitive skin!
ConsI did feel the quantity was a bit on the smaller side, which was slightly disappointing. It would be great if they offered refill sticks - that would really improve the value for money.
TipI took this with me on a long-haul flight and applied it to dry areas throughout the journey. It was so convenient not having to wash my hands each time, and being able to reapply frequently. My skin felt much less dehydrated as a result, which was fantastic.

With winter dryness hitting hard, I've been applying it here and there for convenience. While it's not a miracle worker, it seems to have some effect, so I keep using it. It has a pleasant aromatherapy scent and doesn't feel sticky after application, which is nice. The price seems reasonable too.
ConsIt's disappointing how quickly it seems to run out, even though I haven't used it much. It feels like the volume is quite small, so I'm not sure about its value for money. Also, it didn't have a significant effect on itchiness, so it was just okay overall.

The scent isn't overwhelming, making it easy to apply quickly.
ConsHowever, the disappointing part is that while the texture feels nice when applying, it tends to leave a white cast when used with other skincare products. That was a bit of a letdown.

As a woman in her late 30s with psoriasis on her hands for over 20 years, I'm thrilled to try Atopalm's new panthenol stick balm. Atopalm is renowned for baby products, so I was eager to test it. It definitely lives up to its reputation. 1. Packaging and Convenience ★★★★★ The small, white, and cute packaging is adorable. It's not too soft, so there's no need to squeeze out small amounts. I love that it can be used anywhere, anytime, on any part of the body. I applied it to my husband's arms, my face, hands, and lips. While our child's skin is still good with just soothing gel and emulsion, this seems perfect for quick application on babies or children. 2. Ingredients and Scent ★★★★★ The ingredients are undoubtedly excellent. I appreciate the absence of synthetic fragrances. There's a mild herbal scent, probably due to the various plant ingredients. The subtle fragrance that quickly fades is a plus. 3. Effectiveness ★★★★★ This is the main reason for my 5-star overall rating. I initially applied the panthenol stick balm only to my face for a few days. Then I realized it's designed for easy application anywhere. So, I tried it on my psoriasis-affected hands, which were flaring up at the time. Surprisingly, with frequent application, my psoriasis didn't worsen. Of course, there could be multiple factors contributing to the improvement, but I believe this product works well for me. Given the season, I also applied it to my chapped lips with great results.
Cons4. Texture ★★★ As I have sensitive skin, I could feel a slight warming sensation. Being a stick formula, it can be a bit sticky or greasy. However, with proper amount control and absorption, it's manageable. It's less problematic than other stick products, hence the 3-star rating.

When I first applied it to my bare face after cleansing, it felt a bit stiff. However, after using toner and then the product, it felt much better. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, but rather absorbs well, making it comfortable to wear even in the morning. The scent reminded me of mint leaf rice - a sort of cooling fragrance? It actually gave a cooling sensation, and I quite liked the scent. I think it's a great product for hydration during these dry, cold days. Being in stick form, I appreciated its portability and the fact that I didn't have to deal with the hassle of product getting on my hands or needing to wipe them clean.
ConsI don't feel like the quantity is generous for the price, so I wish it were either more affordable or came in a larger size.

I applied it in the morning before going out, and while my skin was a bit shiny by midday, it felt less dry than usual, which I appreciated. I also liked the subtle herbal scent.
ConsWhen first applied, it feels a bit stiff on the skin, but after a moment it spreads smoothly. Unfortunately, the product seems to shrink quickly with repeated use, which is disappointing.
TipFor those with dry skin, especially during these arid times, it's beneficial to layer a cream over this product at night for extra moisture.

Personally, I found it quite pleasant. Appearance: White glue stick-like / Light and perfectly sized for the hand. I love that the cap doesn't pop open if you drop it. Application: Glides on smoothly without any effort. Despite being a solid stick, it doesn't crumble. Texture: Feels refreshingly cool when applied. Ingredients: Probably due to the absence of harmful substances, it doesn't cause any blemishes.
ConsI'll need to use it longer to gauge its lasting power. Being a balm, there's a slight stickiness. While it has a twist-up design, it lacks an inner cap, which is a bit disappointing from a hygiene perspective.
TipMy morning routine involves applying this balm to my face after cleansing and toning, followed by sunscreen.

The solid stick format is great for applying hygienically without using your hands when you're out and about. The scent is slightly reminiscent of mosquito repellent, haha! As for irritation, I applied it around my baby's mouth and there were no blemishes at all! In winter, I always carry emulsion for my baby's skin, but these days I just bring the Atopalm stick. After snacks, I apply it around her mouth and under her nose. It's so good!
ConsRegarding application: it doesn't spread well when applied directly to the face. Especially when trying to apply it to a child's face, I couldn't apply it immediately. So before applying it to my baby's face or sensitive areas, I first melted it on the inside of my wrist using body heat, then applied it to my baby's skin! On the plus side, it melts quickly with body heat, and once melted, it absorbs beautifully.
TipIt's best to melt it on the inside of your wrist first before applying to sensitive areas. I always trust and love Atopalm for baby shampoo, body wash, emulsion, and cream.

The Atopalm Panthenol Stick Balm is an opaque white with a herbal scent, somewhat reminiscent of tea tree. When applied to dry areas, it quickly provides hydration. I actually preferred it to other stick balms because it's less soft. In cold environments, it can feel a bit stiff at first, but it melts quickly with a little rubbing. It's great for conveniently moisturizing skin dried out by heating in winter, and I liked the natural glow effect it provides.
ConsI was a bit concerned that when applied around the mouth and worn under a mask, there was a slight burning sensation, possibly due to the tea tree-like herbal ingredients. I didn't experience this on other exposed areas. Also, being a balm type product, dust tends to stick to the surface easily. But I suppose that's unavoidable given the nature of the product.
TipI found this product works better on my feet than on my face! My feet are extremely dry as they don't sweat at all. Applying this to my heels and toes in the morning before putting on socks was perfect and comfortable!
