The downside is that Aesop's product lines tend to lack moisture for me. I'm not sure if it's due to their inherently dry nature, but their body and hand skin care lines generally have this issue. While they leave a non-greasy, fresh finish, they may be insufficient, especially during the winter. It's best to use their core products and rely on this fragrance as a supplementary option.

Undoubtedly, the scent is the highlight. It has a woody and spicy character, which I believe captures the essence of Aesop's identity well. Additionally, the fragrance has better longevity compared to Rinde or Geranium. It also layers nicely with other Aesop fragrances. However, blending with Rinde or Geranium may not have the same effect.
