A cushion with a great range of colors. The coverage is good, but it feels like it's missing that final 2%. I wish the puff was a bit larger. Also, this type of cushion is really tricky to use with the puff - it gets messy around the edges, so you end up having to toss the puff after just a few uses. It's on the pricier side, but the case is pretty, making it nice to use as a mirror. They might want to consider cutting down on advertising costs and lowering the price a bit. Honestly, when it comes to quality, there's not a dramatic difference between this and the Korean brand cushions you can find at Olive Young for a better price. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to buy it again. After using the cushion, press down firmly on the middle lid to keep air out. - a0**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 19, 2024
The skin looks beautiful, but it's just like my natural skin - seriously, it's like porcelain! The puff is amazing, so soft and fluffy. It goes on with a slight absorbing sensation, adhering wonderfully. The moisturizing effect is great for combination dehydrated or dry skin. While it's hydrating, it leaves a slightly powdery finish that's perfect for oily skin types. Since it's not a cover cushion, the coverage isn't that high. But it's still okay! It works like a charm when used with concealer. - ji*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresSep 8, 2024
First off, I love how easy it is to control the amount and apply a thin layer. Just a light dab evenly coats the puff, making it simple to build up thin layers. For my neutral-toned complexion (17-21 range), it's slightly darker with a yellow undertone. While I'm not sure about its full coverage capabilities, it naturally softens red blemishes and dark circles. It provides a natural coverage for pores on the nose. Perfect for achieving a natural makeup look. The compact is slim, making it great for on-the-go touch-ups. The adherence to the skin is a bit lacking. After application, it tends to transfer and feels like it's floating about 1mm above the skin. I didn't get the impression that it enhanced my skin's appearance. In terms of longevity, after about 4 hours, oil starts to come through and it begins to fade slightly. Considering the price point, I don't think it offers the best value for money. While I bought it for the pretty packaging, I probably won't repurchase. For better adherence and longevity, make sure your skincare is fully absorbed (just toner and emulsion is fine). Apply a moisturizing sunscreen, blot with oil-absorbing sheets, then apply the cushion. Finish with a light dusting of powder for best results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 24, 2024
It's moisturizing and absorbs well. When I first applied it, I didn't notice any pilling. The coverage doesn't seem to be that great, which is a bit disappointing. Also, it seems to darken my skin tone slightly. - ek*******Combination SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMar 20, 2024
The coverage is decent and it adheres well to the skin. As someone with combination skin, I appreciate how it fades gracefully throughout the day. Given its price point and glossy finish, it's understandable that the longevity is somewhat limited. - dl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 9, 2024
It's incredibly hydrating, so it's best not to expect much coverage. For combination skin types, this is great to use on dry days. Even with a deep undertone, it brightens the complexion nicely. As expected, the coverage is a bit disappointing, and it's quite pricey... I'm too lazy to buy new puffs, so I just wash and reuse the one it came with. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2024
As someone with slightly prominent pores, I found that applying a thin layer with controlled amount gives a natural brightening effect, which I really liked. Even when it fades, it seems to do so gracefully rather than in an unsightly manner. If you're looking for high coverage, you might be a bit disappointed. Its strength lies in its natural look, which actually makes it less suitable for concealing blemishes. Gently patting a thin layer onto the skin using the cushion pact applicator helps it adhere well and reduces the appearance of cakiness. The slightly hydrating formula works best when applied after your base products have been well-blended into the skin. - ki**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 1, 2024
It's great for everyday use without any fuss! I recommend this to anyone looking to brighten their complexion with a pink undertone. The coverage isn't as good as I'd hoped. Also, when I carry it in my bag, a lot of the product ends up on the lid, which is a bit disappointing. If you apply this and then use concealer on any blemishes, your skin looks absolutely flawless! - kk*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 16, 2024
Among department store cushions, this seems to be top-tier for skin appearance (in my opinion). Even in winter, if you apply a solid skincare base and layer this thinly twice, it gives a beautiful glow. It's exactly that perfect balance - moisturizing on the inside, with a soft matte finish on the outside. There's not really anything to complain about, except of course the price... But then again, it's Yves Saint Laurent. - eu*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2024
It creates a beautiful skin finish. The semi-matte texture and mesh net allow for a thin, smooth application. The shade is quite light for warm-toned skin. It's disappointing that there isn't a wider range of shades available.
