The puff texture and formula work together like a dream, creating a perfect match. As someone with oily skin, it covered my shine really well.
ConsThe case is quite fragile. It broke even though I don't have particularly strong hands. Those with dry skin might find it quite tight on the skin. Also, the quantity is so small that you'll run out quickly, unfortunately.
TipFor those with dry skin, I recommend using a base product with high hydration levels.

Because of this, I always check the ingredients on Hwahae for everything from skincare to base makeup and color cosmetics, to make sure they don't contain this ingredient before purchasing. When I finished my previous cushion foundation, I came across the Rom&nd Nu Zero Cushion while looking for a new product! Most cushions that boast high coverage always seem to contain pore-clogging ingredients. This one didn't have any ingredients I was trying to avoid, and the reviews were good, so I decided to buy it. Among all the non-pore-clogging cushions I've tried so far, this one is definitely the best! The coverage is surprisingly good, even though I didn't expect much initially. They offer lighter shades too, and the staying power is decent. It's not super dewy or matte, but somewhere in between, which is perfect for me. I think it'll be hard to find a better product for a while, so I've already purchased a backup. (I got it at a great price on Hwahae!)
ConsFor those looking for high coverage, I'd recommend products with pore-clogging ingredients. It might be a bit dry for those with extremely dry skin. Inevitably, there is some transfer onto masks. The limited edition yellow case was cute, but the standard gray case is too dull. I've resorted to putting stickers on it.

ConsIt may feel dry for those with dry skin. However, for combination skin, it would likely be satisfactory in terms of lasting power
TipFinding a combination of cool-toned + bright lake + good lasting power cushion foundation suitable for oily skin is rather challenging, but compared to the brightest lake I had previously, the Romand (in the photo above // Kolonia is below) was brighter and had a pink base, so I am satisfied.

It is a trustworthy cushion. The semi-matte formula is very lightweight yet provides great coverage in a natural way. The smooth coverage is quite good. Even though I have allergies, there are no allergy-causing ingredients, and it doesn't cause any discomfort on my face, so it's great! However, it has a slightly matte feel on my cheeks, so I tend to prep my skin well before applying it. Otherwise, it can feel a bit too tightening on my cheeks. Despite that, I can't give it up because it covers my pores well and creates a beautiful skin finish, so I make sure to have a solid skincare routine. I was able to try this cushion before its launch, and I'm grateful for that opportunity. Seeing the months of effort put into making even the sponge that holds the foundation, I understand why I love Romand so much. It seems they make their products with such care and passion, which is why they are so beloved. The case, skin finish, and shade range are all very suitable - the shade works well even for those around #17. It covers pores well and has good adhesion, so it's been great to use, especially as the weather gets warmer. The lightweight formula is perfect for my dry skin type right now. The case is also beautiful and well-made. Compared to the Romand Clear Cushion, which has good coverage and hydration but can feel a bit heavy, this one is just the right level of lightness. The puff also releases the right amount of product nicely. It's been a pleasure to use. The fragrance is also quite nice. It applies cleanly and seamlessly even for touch-ups. I'm really happy with it and quickly purchased it when it launched on the brand's website.
ConsThe only downside I've noticed is that my cheeks can feel a bit dry sometimes. That's really the only disappointing aspect. And occasionally, I've had some creasing under my eyes. Recently, when my face feels very dry, if I do touch-ups in the evening (after multiple touch-ups), I notice a slight cakiness or settling into my pores. It can look a bit cakey. But that may be because it's still March and my skin is quite dry. I do have a very dry skin type. The semi-matte formula is a bit more matte than I expected. Comparing it to other cushions I've used, like the one from The Lab by Blanc Doux, this one has a more powdery, dry-looking finish on the surface. (When I swatch them on my wrist, the The Lab by Blanc Doux one feels a bit more hydrated, while this one dries down more matte.) I think a slightly more satin or luminous finish would be better suited for my skin type. Recently, I've noticed something interesting when comparing the shades. Even though the Romand cushion and the The Lab by Blanc Doux cushion in 00 seem to have similar brightness levels, for some reason, when I apply them, the The Lab by Blanc Doux one ends up looking brighter on my face. The Romand one, despite having a pinkish, luminous tone, ends up looking a bit dull and not as brightening as I expected. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't seem to brighten my complexion as much as I had hoped.
TipIn the 6th photo, where I applied the cushion very thinly and built it up, the imperfections and blemishes seem to be more accentuated due to the lighting. However, when I properly prep my skin and apply the cushion, it gives a beautiful, luminous finish. Even with that careful application, I still experience some tightness on my cheeks. This cushion definitely has a very matte, drying feel to it. But the overall result and skin finish is still quite lovely.
