After going through over 10 bottles of Labo-H's green and light green products, I've switched to their shampoo bar to reduce plastic waste. I tend to experience periodic scalp blemishes, and here's what I love about this product: 1. It has almost identical cleansing effectiveness and feel to bottled shampoo 2. It produces a rich lather These are its biggest advantages! It's essentially like they've transformed their liquid shampoo into a solid bar. In fact, it's even more convenient for travel as it takes up less space than liquid shampoo. When shampoo bars first came out, it took some time to get used to the concept. But once you're accustomed to it, it's quite nice.
Cons1. Hair feels slightly stiffer compared to liquid shampoo - However, personally, I find it's fine to skip treatment for a day or so. 2. It's a bit challenging to use up the very last bits of the shampoo bar - I'm not sure if it's just me lacking technique, but the small pieces don't stick together, so you end up with shampoo bar bits rolling around. I really want to use it up completely, but rubbing the small pieces directly on your palm can be a bit uncomfortable due to the granules. 3. It takes time to adjust to the right amount to use - This might be more of an issue with shampoo bars in general rather than specific to Labo-H. The product description states it's equivalent to 400g of liquid shampoo, but it feels like it gets used up faster. However, it also produces more lather, so it seems some adjustment is needed.
TipStoring the bar in a soap net as shown in the picture helps prevent it from wearing down too quickly.

ConsIt's too stiff. When applying the soap directly to wet hair, it feels painful as if the hair will be pulled out. I think it needs improvement. I can't tell if the most important hair loss-related function is working properly.

So I decided to try it right away. The shampoo bar is environmentally friendly, and the cleansing power was good. But I'm not sure if it's as good as the liquid shampoo.
ConsThere is some splitting and it gets stiff after use. It's difficult to finish using it alone, and you need a conditioner. I'm not sure if it has the same quality as other Raboach products. I bought 2 of them, but I don't use them often, so they last a long time...

(This is the best feature!!) - When used with a loofah, the foam lathers well. - I felt that the cleansing power of Raboach's existing liquid shampoo was a bit strong, but this soap has slightly weaker cleansing power, which I actually prefer. (However, it is not weak in terms of cleansing power for combination skin.) - I thought it might have a soap-like scent, but for someone with rhinitis, it is fragrance-free. - I can take some solace in the fact that I am doing a small bit of good for the environment. - Even though I have sensitive scalp, I have been using it without any issues.
Cons- As it is a soap, the hair does tend to feel a bit stiff. But since I use a separate conditioner anyway, and it doesn't make my hair unmanageable, it's fine for me. However, my mother says it feels like washing with laundry soap. - The soap is smaller than expected, about the size of a palm. - There are small 'flakes' or 'scales' that come off the soap. These need to be rinsed off well. - As the soap gets wet and dries repeatedly, it starts to crack and break into pieces, and the cracks cause the loofah to tear. If you notice it starting to crack, it's recommended to use two loofahs. And once it starts to soften, the process accelerates.
TipIt's good to use the soap with a loofah and a diatomite soap dish from Daiso. On average, it lasts for more than two months up to three months per bar. Overall, despite the issues, I still use it regularly because I like the usage experience.

It's shattered my preconception that bar shampoos don't lather well. The cleansing power is great 🛀✨ The densely packed exfoliating beads gently massage my scalp, and the lather rinses off cleanly. I used to have an oily scalp odor, but that's gone after using this product! The natural fragrance of the soap itself comes through. It's environmentally friendly 🌈🌷 The shipping, packaging, and the included mesh net are all paper and cotton, so it's more eco-friendly than products in plastic bottles. I really appreciate that.
Cons1. It doesn't help with hair loss symptoms, in fact it's the opposite. The strong cleansing power, similar to regular hand soap, leaves my hair feeling stiff, and I actually lose more hair when brushing. 2. It gets used up too quickly. Being a bar soap, the product volume does diminish quite rapidly. After lathering and using it, the dripping water causes it to shrink in size quickly. It feels a bit wasteful... but you can't really store it in the packaging either. Still, it lasts me about 2 months (assuming daily use).
TipUse the cotton mesh net that comes with the bar soap. It's great for hanging the bar to dry, and for working up a good lather by scrubbing. And honestly, I found it works even better on my body than on my hair!

The bar form is new to me, but using the one you recommended, I found that it lathers up quite well, though not as much as regular shampoo. So I've been using it as a pre-shampoo. After shampooing and rinsing it off as per the instructions, my scalp feels refreshed and clean. Most importantly, it's better for the environment than regular shampoo, and the scent is not too strong, so there's not much room for dislike. Going forward, I think I'll continue to purchase shampoo bars instead of regular shampoo.
ConsIt has a slightly minty, refreshing feel, so my hair isn't exactly soft, but rather slightly stiff. That's why I always make sure to use a conditioner afterwards!

Neutral scalp - can't use just any shampoo (causes itching). 1. The soap doesn't dissolve easily. It seems to last about 3 washes, even though it could potentially last 3 weeks. (My hair is long, down to my waist, so I don't rub the soap directly on my hair.) 2. Easy to use. The bar format is convenient - just rub it on the scalp. As someone with long hair down to my waist, it was a bit of a hassle to squeeze out shampoo, but this is much more convenient. My family members also mentioned this as a benefit. 3. The granules rinse out well. They dissolve, so there's no residue left on the hair. Even though it has granules, it's not irritating, unlike a face wash with granules. 4. Usage experience: After using, the scalp feels refreshed, and there's no scalp odor the next day. My family members even commented that my hair doesn't have that "greasy" smell. For those concerned about scalp odor, definitely try this - it actually removes the odor, rather than just masking it with fragrance. 5. Can be used for seborrheic dermatitis. My family member has a rather severe case of chronic seborrheic dermatitis, but had no issues using this. They left a positive review, saying their scalp looked clean, without excessive oil or odor, and there was no irritation. Of course, individual differences exist, so please take this as a reference. Purchase intent: o
Cons1. The hair isn't as soft (smooth) as desired. Personally, I use a conditioner anyway, so it's not an issue for me. I actually prefer that it doesn't make the scalp and hairline too oily. ⭐️But for those who really want their individual strands of hair to feel soft, this could be a downside.⭐️ This is the reason I had to deduct one star, as it pains me to do so. 2. There are some granules that fall off the soap dish and onto the sink, so you have to rinse them off. I'm not sure if this is really a downside, but for those who insist on keeping their sink spotless 24/7, this might be bothersome. I'm just mentioning this as an extra point, ^.^
TipJust rub the soap bar directly on your head, don't try to work up a lather with your hands. It's really convenient that way. It's suitable for sensitive and seborrheic scalps too. This shampoo bar definitely gives the impression of being focused on scalp health.

First of all, I'm glad that it's made without using plastic containers, as it shows consideration for the environment. The packaging is also made of paper, which I appreciate. In addition, the lather it produces is surprisingly abundant. As soon as it comes into contact with water, it starts to foam up nicely. I'm not sure if it's already helping with my hair loss symptoms, as I've only been using it for a few days, but I'll continue using it. Overall, I really enjoy the convenience of using this shampoo bar.
ConsThe shampoo bar seems to have a strong soap-like quality, so my hair feels a bit stiff after rinsing it out. However, I always use a conditioner, so it's not a major issue. Additionally, when the shampoo bar dries out, the surface starts to crack a bit. It doesn't affect the usability, but it doesn't look the best. That's why I'm considering buying a shampoo bar drying rack or stand to help prevent this.
TipI thoroughly wet my hair with water before applying the shampoo bar. I then gently massage the bar all over my scalp to create a good lather. After that, I use my fingertips to further massage the lather into my hair. Finally, I make sure to rinse it out thoroughly.

Grass..? It has that kind of fresh aroma, which I really liked!! But the scent doesn't linger on the hair ㅠㅠ 🟠 Lather This was my first time using a shampoo bar, and the lather was much richer than I expected!! It wasn't a thin, wispy lather, but a nice, dense and creamy one! I really enjoyed that! 🟡 Usage Experience It was a bit challenging to use without a lather net, but when shampooing, my hair felt cleansed and my scalp felt refreshed!! It gave me a sense of effective care!!
Cons💧 My hair didn't feel as soft and smooth after using it ㅠㅠ! 💧 The scent doesn't really linger on the hair..! 💧 It seemed to get used up quite quickly, so I felt like I might finish it before seeing any real effects ㅠㅠ Seeing results in a short time is usually difficult, but it seemed even more so in this case..! If you're looking for guaranteed short-term effects, I wouldn't recommend this.
Tip🍯 Be sure to use a lather net, everyone ㅠㅠ!!! And using a scalp brush along with it will make your scalp feel even more refreshed!

After using the products, I gained trust in the brand and became more interested in zero-waste due to environmental concerns, so I applied for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program. I'm leaving a review with gratitude. *Scalp type and hair condition: I have an oily scalp and very sparse, fine, and dry hair. Therefore, I'm always concerned about hair loss and scalp care. I don't have any scalp troubles or dandruff. *Usage period: 3/31 ~ 4/11 (once a day, 12 days) *Cleansing power: When lathered a couple of times, it produces a rich, bubbly lather, and my scalp feels refreshed and clean after washing. My scalp doesn't feel slippery after washing. *Fragrance: Even before opening the product, the mint fragrance was permeating the box. Once opened and placed in the bathroom, the scent became faint. After washing and drying my hair, the fragrance is almost gone. *Texture: It's firm. I placed it on the soap dish I had at home, and it didn't crack or soften during use, so I don't think I need to buy a special soap dish. *Advantages: I liked how thoroughly it cleansed my scalp. My scalp didn't get oily quickly in the afternoon, and I didn't notice much of the usual scalp odor. During use, I had my whole hair dyed, but I didn't feel like my hair was damaged or losing a lot of color. Most importantly, I'm glad the product is made with no harmful ingredients and with environmental consciousness in mind.
Cons*Downside: My hair ends felt slightly stiff after washing. Due to the short usage period, I couldn't clearly see if it helped alleviate my hair loss, and I couldn't measure how long one bar would last. *Not recommended for: Those with very dry scalps may not enjoy the refreshing, squeaky-clean feeling.
Tip*I used the Rabo H treatment I had at home along with the shampoo bar, and it helped maintain a clean scalp and smooth hair. I hope they'll release a conditioner bar and a treatment bar in the future.
