As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to redness and folliculitis, I haven't found a product that makes my skin feel as comfortable as this one. I highly recommend it to those looking for a lightweight hydrating cream. It seems to only provide hydration without much else. If I use this alone, my skin feels dry, but if I layer other products, I experience more redness and blemishes. So I just stick to using this by itself. However, it occasionally makes my face feel itchy. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 23, 2025
Here's my review after using it for about two weeks: If you're sensitive to fragrances, you'll appreciate that this product is unscented. When applied, it feels like you're coating your skin with a thick layer of hydration. The finish is moisturizing without any sticky residue. The generous amount allows for liberal application without worry. I was surprised when it pilled like dead skin cells when I applied sunscreen or makeup over it in the morning. After my skincare routine, my face felt a bit tingly. Mornings are always rushed, and I often don't have time to let my cream absorb before applying makeup. To minimize pilling, it's best to either wait for it to absorb or apply a thinner layer. That's really the only way to prevent it from balling up! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 8, 2025
It absorbs incredibly quickly even when applied generously, with almost no sticky feeling. The texture is light and refreshing. It's great for hydration when applied before bed without feeling heavy. I didn't notice any particular soothing effects. After application, it has a silicone-like feel, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who prefer a soft, velvety texture. Occasionally, it caused itching or blemishes. I'd suggest trying a sample before purchasing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJul 10, 2024
I'm not a fan of sticky creams, but I really liked how this one leaves my skin feeling soft and powdery after application. The downside is that when I apply it before bed, my face gets strangely itchy throughout the night. I wouldn't recommend using this in the morning. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 27, 2024
First off, I'm extremely satisfied that it doesn't irritate my super sensitive skin! Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin. If you apply too much, it can pill like dead skin cells and cause itching. I'm not sure if this is due to this product or another Daiso product I'm using. It absorbs faster than expected, so once it dries, I apply another layer just on my butterfly zone. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 26, 2024
First off, the price is so good that I thought 'Even if it's not great, it's worth trying!' I was amazed that you can get two for just over 10,000 won. It's also incredibly hydrating - when I apply it before bed, my skin feels so soft in the morning. If my skin was rough before, it becomes smooth and velvety, making me want to keep touching my face while washing up. Plus, the generous amount means I can use as much as I want without worrying about running out, which is fantastic. If you apply too much, it can be slightly itchy, and by morning, your skin might feel a bit oily. So it's best to use a moderate amount to avoid potential blemishes from excess oil. There's also a bit of pilling, but this can be minimized by applying carefully. For enhanced effectiveness, try layering it over your toner pack. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 1, 2024
I'm using it well. It seems to have no irritation at all. When I apply it thickly before bed, it feels like it functions as a hydrating mask overnight! The downside is that once it dries, there's a slightly itchy sensation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2024
Purchased 3 x 120ml tubes for $23. Here's my review after using one: Bought this affordable moisturizer with madecassoside and centella after seeing positive reviews. It has a cooling effect and absorbs quickly, providing instant hydration. Soothing on sun-irritated skin. Creates a smooth, protective layer. Convenient tube packaging for clean application. After getting a sunburn in Southeast Asia, my arms were peeling and itchy. Applying this cream cooled and calmed the skin. It prevented unconscious scratching while sleeping. The hydration doesn't last long - skin quickly becomes dry and itchy. Pilling occurs when used with high-performance ampoules, essences, or some sunscreens. As someone in their mid-to-late 30s who uses many high-performance skincare products, and has sensitive, combination dehydrated skin, this felt too drying for facial use. For soothing sun-irritated skin in hot weather, this seems to work better than aloe vera gel. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 19, 2024
At first application, it just felt moisturizing and that was it. It was completely underwhelming. I'm not sure if it contains silicone, but it became incredibly itchy later. It feels like it creates a film on the skin to prevent moisture loss. Not worth the money at all - it's been the worst moisturizer I've tried. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 25, 2024
Great value for the amount you get. It's lightweight and leaves the skin feeling hydrated! It comes out like dead skin cells and causes itching... While it feels very moisturizing, I don't get the sense that it's deeply hydrating.
