It applies smoothly without being sticky. The application feels light and non-greasy, and it absorbs well. Personally, I feel like my skin becomes more supple after applying it. 💛Hydration When I used the Red Blemish Soothing Cream before, I felt a slight dryness. However, with this product, I didn't feel any dryness at all, and I liked that my face didn't feel tight even the next morning. I think it would be suitable for use all year round unless you have very dry skin. 💛Scent There's a slightly artificial scent. It has a faint rubber-like smell after application, but it's not noticeable enough to be bothersome. Before using this product, I had some small blemishes due to using a cosmetic that didn't suit me. However, after using this product, my oil and moisture balance seemed to improve, and the small blemishes gradually disappeared. I'm fully intending to purchase this once I finish the product I received! 💛Packaging The tube packaging makes it convenient to use and hygienic, which is great.
ConsThere weren't really any downsides worth mentioning! If I had to say something, maybe the slightly artificial scent?

My expectations were high, and here's why I wasn't disappointed: 1. Absorption and Finish The official website wasn't exaggerating about its exceptional absorption! As it's focused on oil control, it absorbs quickly and leaves a wonderfully matte finish. However, be careful not to over-apply - too much can feel like a film on your skin. Finding the right amount is key. 2. Texture The gel-type formula is excellent for oil control. It spreads easily and smoothly, reminiscent of the Red Blemish Soothing Cream in consistency. 3. Blemish Soothing Since it's an oil-controlling cream, I didn't experience any breakouts from excess oil. While it didn't show dramatic results on small bumps, it worked wonders on inflamed, red pimples.
Cons1. Scent The fragrance is slightly reminiscent of antibiotic ointment. It's not particularly pleasant. 2. Potentially Drying for Dry Skin Types As this cream is tailored for oily and combination dehydrated skin types, those with dry skin might find it a bit drying.

But that doesn't mean it lacked hydration. Not at all. I loved how it applied lightly, similar to a moisturizer, and its gentle ingredients made it suitable for everyday use. It was also great for quickly calming redness and soothing the skin when needed, especially after wearing a mask. Plus, it's practically fragrance-free!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it would be that a slight scent develops some time after application. It's hard to describe, but there's a hint of what seems like an artificial fragrance.

It absorbs well without feeling sticky, and it's more hydrating and moisturizing than I expected. Even though my skin is extremely sensitive, I didn't experience any burning or redness while using it. If you have oily-leaning skin, this would be perfect to use right now. For those with dry-leaning skin, you might want to use an additional moisturizer, but it should work well on its own come summer. While I don't have acne-prone skin, I tend to get blemishes around my mouth and chin when I'm tired or before my period. After using this for a week, I noticed that the red blemishes around my chin calmed down nicely.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing, but there is a slight chemical scent, although it's not overpowering.

Balanced oil and moisture I thought it would have a gel-like texture since it's described as a cream without oiliness. Surprisingly, it wasn't completely oil-free, which puzzled me at first. However, upon application, I found it struck a great balance by providing hydration while creating a light protective layer with just the right amount of richness. 2. Quick absorption It absorbs well and isn't sticky, making it perfect for daytime use under makeup without any pilling issues. 3. Soothing effect While it doesn't work as quickly as spot treatments, I noticed visible improvement after about 3 days of use on some red blemishes I had due to recent stress and hormonal issues. 4. Tube packaging While different packaging types have their pros and cons, I personally prefer tube packaging over jar types for hygiene reasons, so I appreciated this aspect as well.
ConsAs someone who's been hopping from one skincare product to another, I was thrilled to finally find a good product. However, if I had to point out a downside, it would be the scent. In an effort to reduce irritation, the fragrance isn't great. There's a faint rubber-like smell, similar to latex gloves. It's not strong enough to make the product unusable, but if you're sensitive to scents, it's something to keep in mind when considering a purchase.
TipWhile many people buy Dr.G products at Olive Young, it's worth checking their official website occasionally. You can sometimes find better deals there and even receive items gratis, so it's a good idea to compare prices before making a purchase.

I've been focusing heavily on hydration and moisture. I used to use quite a few functional products, thinking that skincare that gave immediate results in improving skin texture was best. But I've found that simply providing enough hydration is sufficient for the skin. As someone with dry skin, I used to hastily apply toner and emulsion, focusing mainly on slathering on cream. But now I've found a product that fits perfectly into my routine - it has a texture between an emulsion and a cream, providing excellent hydration that lasts for ages. I'm so happy! It's so good that I might even be able to skip the ampoule step. I even applied a bit to my baby's face before going out, and it went on smoothly without causing any rashes on their sensitive skin. Plus, it's fragrance-free, so it wasn't uncomfortable at all. It lasts so long that you don't need to worry about reapplying. When I wash my face after work, having applied this product alone in the morning feels more substantial than my previous full routine! It absorbs well without being sticky or thick. And I absolutely love the packaging! You'll understand when you try it... It seems convenient to carry when traveling, and it's versatile enough for the whole family to use. My husband, who shaves daily, used to complain about stinging when using Hera emulsion, but he says this product doesn't cause any irritation at all!
ConsIt might be a bit heavy for summer! But since I have dry skin, I can still use it. Personally, I wish it had a slight floral scent. You know, like the Dr.G Snail Black Cream? That one had a Bvlgari Amethyst-like fragrance that I loved. Also, rather than feeling like it's refining the skin, it just feels intensely hydrating.
TipTry applying two thin layers! It's really great for hydration. First, gently pat on a thin layer, then softly spread on a second layer. It's amazing for moisture!
