As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to acne, I found the hydration wasn't long-lasting enough for my skin type. On slightly drier evenings, my face felt parched after 2-3 hours, making me want to reapply something. The next time, I applied a thick layer on a less dry, overcast day, and it lasted until bedtime. The next morning, I could feel a cream barrier washing off during cleansing. Since I can't apply it so thickly in the morning, I think this works best as an evening moisturizer.
