ConsIt was too runny and dripped everywhere. I had a mishap while applying it to my kids - it got into their eyes and caused quite a problem.
TipFor my skin, it worked better when I applied it directly after toner, without using an emulsion in between.

Here's why I love it: - It's super watery, providing lots of hydration - Absorbs smoothly into the skin - No white cast at all - Doesn't cause makeup to pill - Moisturizing without feeling greasy (hydrating but not oily)
ConsA few downsides to note: - The price is a bit steep for the amount you get - The runny texture means you go through it quickly - If even a tiny bit gets in your eyes, it really stings

I loved the subtle floral fragrance that's so pleasant. 2. It has a lovely emulsion-like texture that's moisturizing and hydrating, making it easy to apply. 3. There's no white cast, and it absorbs well like an emulsion, making it perfect for daily use. 4. The packaging isn't your typical tube-style sunscreen case, but a sophisticated square design that would make a great gift.
ConsIf you apply too much, you might feel a bit of oiliness as time passes, so it's best to use just the right amount. Be careful not to squeeze the tube too hard, as a lot can come out at once - gentle pressure is key.
TipIf you feel like there's too much oil and moisture balance after application, try gently patting it with a sponge to absorb any excess. This helps it set better and creates a great base for makeup!

No white cast: Personally, I prefer sunscreens without a white cast for pre-makeup application. This product is truly like an essence with absolutely no white cast, making it suitable for men to use as well. 2. Moisturizing: True to its name as a watery sun cream, this product is incredibly hydrating and moisturizing, giving you the feeling of having applied an extra layer of skincare! It seems perfect for use during the dry autumn and winter months. 3. Great makeup compatibility: After using this product and applying makeup, I was thrilled to find that my makeup went on smoothly without any patchiness or pilling.
Cons1. Slight eye irritation: Those with sensitive eyes should be careful when applying this product around the eye area. 2. Runny consistency: Due to its thin texture, the product can be a bit runny, making it difficult to control the amount at first.
TipBe cautious as it may pour out quickly at first. If you have oily skin, you might need to set it with powder or use oil blotting papers after application.

It's a familiar scent that you've probably encountered before! It's unlikely to be polarizing. Texture: It has a moisturizing and fluid consistency! When you squeeze it out, it flows like a serum! Unlike typical sunscreens that have a creamier feel, this Tocobo product flows like a serum. Be careful not to let it drip when applying! Irritation: I'm currently using Espoir sunscreen because I experience eye stinging with others. I tried Tocobo while working and exercising, and there was absolutely no eye stinging! Despite having sensitive skin prone to redness, there was no irritation at all, probably due to its gentle ingredients. Application & Absorption: It glides on smoothly like a serum and absorbs with a moisturizing effect! After application, your skin feels plump and firm! When you apply makeup after your skincare routine and this sunscreen, it seems to adhere better. It absorbs well without dryness, making it great for winter use! Also, there's no white cast, so it blends naturally into the skin! Despite having brightening properties, it still feels gentle!
ConsThere's not really any downside, except that it can run a bit... that's about it!
TipBecause it applies so moisturizing, you probably won't have to worry much about dry, flaky skin in winter! I'm definitely planning to switch to Tocobo once I finish my Espoir sunscreen!

This is my honest review after using the product for a week. Thank you! I was initially worried about trying this product for the first time, but it turned out to be great! Let me break down the pros and cons for you. Skin Type: My skin is combination dehydrated - oily T-zone, dry U-zone, and generally sensitive. I'm very careful with cosmetics as my skin is prone to blemishes if a product doesn't suit me. Packaging, Appearance, and Scent: First off, the light blue color of the packaging is really pretty! The cap is sturdy and doesn't come off easily when carried around. As for the scent, it has a unique herbal fragrance, reminiscent of some Japanese sunscreens. I personally liked it! I was also pleased that it doesn't contain any potential allergens. Plus, it contains hyaluronic acid and mung bean extract to help keep your skin hydrated. Texture and Application: It's not your typical thick, creamy sunscreen. The texture is more like a hydrating serum, which helps maintain moisturized skin (highly recommended for those who dislike sticky feelings!). There's minimal white cast, which is great. It absorbs naturally into the skin - perfect for those who hate white cast! Post-Use Impressions: As someone who regularly uses hyaluronic acid products, this hydrating sunscreen worked really well for my skin! I didn't experience any acne or blemishes. However, on days when I applied it without my usual serum or emulsion, it did sting a bit and I noticed a few blemishes. So, I'd recommend always using your emulsion before applying this sunscreen. Overall, what I loved most about this sunscreen is how it minimizes the greasy feeling often associated with sunscreens. Thanks to this event, I think I've found a great new sunscreen!
ConsRegarding the polarizing scent... As it's a vegan product with plant-based ingredients, it does have a plant-like smell. It might not be suitable for those who dislike this type of fragrance. About the product consistency... You need to be careful with how much pressure you apply when squeezing it out. It tends to come out too quickly! On the issue of the product melting... Given its light and thin consistency, it seems to melt easily with sweat in summer. I noticed it coming off a bit during exercise. You might need to reapply it periodically.

After trying this product: 1) When applied as the first step after skincare, it glides on smoothly and adheres quickly like a serum. Even when reapplied over other sunscreens in the afternoon, it doesn't pill or feel heavy - it just glides on and adheres nicely. 2) Compared to my previous sunscreen (the light blue one from Etude House Soon Jung), this feels much lighter even after hours of wear. Other sunscreens I've tried felt fresh at first but became uncomfortable when mixed with my skin's natural oils. This one stays light and comfortable throughout the day, which I'm very satisfied with. 3) This might be a matter of personal preference, but I actually liked the herbal scent. Those who prefer unscented products might disagree. 4) It has a slight blue tint, but goes on transparently and adheres well. It's great for both face and neck application. I think it would be perfect for men to use during outdoor activities like golf.
ConsAs expected, it has a runny, serum-like consistency that flows easily. I sometimes squeeze it directly onto my face out of habit, and it ran more than I anticipated, which surprised me at first. I wonder if it might be better marketed as a 'sun serum' rather than a sunscreen.
TipIt's great to apply a thin layer all over your face, then add a bit more for extra protection. The absorption is excellent, and it provides thorough sun protection!

I once tried a hydrating sunscreen that I thought absorbed really well, but this product is so fluid it could be called a sun ampoule. It has no cream-like thickness at all, so it absorbs exceptionally well. This summer has been so hot that even applying skincare felt stifling, but with this, I could just cleanse, wipe with toner, and apply the sunscreen before going out. It was so convenient not needing any other base products.
ConsIn summer, my skin becomes extremely oily. Even when I use an exfoliating toner and immediately apply sunscreen, the shine is visible. I stuck to the recommended amount of sunscreen but had to blot with oil papers afterwards to reduce the shine. However, this might actually work well in winter. I'll need to try it until then. Also, the texture is so runny that it might be hard to control for some people - it could spill easily or flow too quickly.

The texture is very hydrating and has a runny consistency! It's a bit challenging to control the amount due to how fluid it is. The application is smooth and moisturizing, as expected from its hydrating formula! The finish isn't sticky or hair-clinging, but for those with combination dehydrated skin, especially if you have bangs, there's a risk of looking greasy. So, use some oil blotting sheets a little while after application! What I like most are the ingredients and how it absorbs. The ingredients are really skin-friendly, and it applies so smoothly that it feels great going on. The scent is almost fragrance-free, so it's not off-putting! While the finish isn't excessively oily for a sunscreen, it does have a somewhat rich feel. If you're looking for a hydrating sunscreen with good ingredients, I recommend this!
ConsI didn't find any drawbacks in terms of product effectiveness. The runny texture makes it hard to control the amount, and it's difficult to see how much is left in the container. These could be considered downsides. <<I've added some cons I discovered after using it for over a month!>> If you apply even a little too much, it gets way too oily. I'm not sure if it's because it's a hydrating sunscreen, but rather than feeling fresh and moisturized, it feels like my face is oozing oil. Also, makeup really doesn't adhere well over it. There's a strong sensation of pilling and excessive oiliness. I don't wear makeup often, but every time I do, it pills so much that I've started using a different sunscreen for makeup days. I'd only recommend this for those who plan to use a moderate amount on bare skin.
TipApply directly to your face as it's hard to control the amount. If you try to squeeze it onto your hand first, it might all run off. The container is somewhat plastic-like, so don't press too hard thinking you need to squeeze it firmly. Even a gentle press dispenses plenty! About 5 minutes after application, use oil blotting papers or powder, focusing on the T-zone where oil tends to build up. You'll need to keep managing the oiliness throughout the day!

It's a super soft emulsion that applies smoothly without any pilling. My skin is incredibly sensitive and prone to blemishes at the slightest mismatch, so I rarely switch up my skincare. I tried this sunscreen with some skepticism, but I think it's going to be my new go-to. During The Hwahae Testers trial period, I took it on an overseas trip. The areas where I applied it didn't burn at all, while the spots I missed turned bright red along the edges. I wasn't sure about its effectiveness at first, but seeing how red the unprotected areas got really proved its worth! It's also fantastic for arms and legs - the soft texture means it spreads evenly without clumping. For the face, it's incredibly easy to apply before makeup. Absolutely top-notch!
ConsThere's honestly nothing I disliked, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say that because the formula is so soft, it can run if you leave the bottle open and get distracted. Its excellent spreadability is generally a plus, but it could be a drawback if you're clumsy.
TipWhile it's great for applying to the face before makeup with no pilling, I especially loved how smoothly and evenly it spread on my arms and legs without any clumping.
