I used the Houttuynia Cordata ampoule in the refreshing version. The texture is a bit viscous, like a moisturizing gel. 🫧 It has a mild Houttuynia Cordata scent and is lightweight, so it was fine to use with other products. Though it has some viscosity, it doesn't absorb very quickly. It's low in oil but high in moisture.
Right after application, there's a slight stickiness, but it's not an uncomfortable tackiness.🤓
Most importantly, it's very effective in soothing redness and blemishes, so I've been using it consistently. It replenishes inner moisture and calms down trouble spots - the perfect ampoule for my dry, sensitive skin.🌱

I'm the type who struggles with chronic folliculitis and skin inflammation! I have to use different products for folliculitis+acne, folliculitis, and folliculitis+damaged skin barrier. This product is solely recommended for acne!!
I'm a picky person whose breakouts vary, but I really rely on this product when I only have acne. I've tried other famous acne-fighting products, but I highly recommend this one much more!! I don't use it as a moisturizer, but the gentle formula and soothing properties make it a satisfactory product!!

Applying it before makeup would cause the makeup to smear, so it seems best to use it only at night.

From what I know, the Hei Nature ampoule isn't as well-known, but it works better for me than other more famous products. I'm not sure why, since I haven't compared the ingredients. And for me, the ampoule works better than the toner. Using the ampoule consistently, I've seen gradual improvements in my milia and redness, though the changes aren't dramatic. I have more of a dry skin type, so I use this product along with a cream to prevent dryness.

There are also masks with the same ingredients, and those are really great too.

I was aware that Houttuynia cordata is good for acne, but I didn't know it was this effective!! On the days when my skin is really messed up due to acne, if I cleanse thoroughly and apply this ampoule before bed, my acne is significantly calmed down by the next day. The ingredients also seem to be great, which is why I've already used up 4 bottles. I really hope this acne-specific ampoule becomes more popular!

It doesn't soothe my skin. Due to dryness and side effects from a dermatological treatment, I had red and dry patches on my face like atopic dermatitis. When I applied this, it made the redness even worse. I also felt like my pores got a bit larger.

Normally, if a product doesn't suit my skin, I get breakouts. But with this, I've never had any breakouts no matter how much I use it. So I thought it was really suitable for me and used it a lot...

It seems like houttuynia didn't work for me...; After using it for 3 days, my skin started getting bumps and pimples. I don't recommend it for sensitive and reactive skin types.
