A decent product. It didn't leave my skin feeling particularly dry, and I didn't experience any blemishes. It lathers well and was good for everyday use. The strong basil scent took some getting used to. I love the basil scent - it's subtly pleasant every time I use it, which puts me in a good mood. It seems to help with blemishes and feels like it cleanses thoroughly. I have no complaints about the product itself. I'm on my second bottle, but the lid always seems to have a slight closure issue. First of all, it's incredibly gentle, and after using it for a few days, my skin became noticeably clearer. Even when I try other products, I always come back to this one... The only slight downside for me was that the basil scent didn't quite agree with me. The basil scent is lovely (though it might be off-putting if you're not a fan of basil). I'm not sure about its cleansing effectiveness, but the tiny granules inside seem to improve skin texture as they gently exfoliate. When I used this without realizing I had combination skin, I thought it suited me well. It definitely works on the T-zone (oily areas), but for the U-zone (dry areas), after rinsing and drying, it seems to emphasize the dryness a bit more. It's just a bit itchy. The basil scent was so good, I almost wanted to eat it! Try not to squeeze out too much - use a small amount diluted with a bit of water. Considering the price, it's really great quality. It's even better than some mid-range department store foam cleansers (like Hera). It cleanses thoroughly, leaving your skin squeaky clean, while still maintaining hydration and providing excellent moisturizing power. The scent... Is this really supposed to be herbal? It's a fragrance I just can't get used to. I can't even describe it because I'm afraid it would tank sales if I did. Despite that, the product quality is good for its price, so I would consider repurchasing. I've almost used it all up and plan to cut open the tube soon! Even when lathering by hand, it produces a decent amount of foam, but I'm using a Daiso foam maker for even more suds. The cleansing effectiveness is great! Maybe because I'm washing with lots of foam, I didn't feel like the granules inside were rough or irritating at all! I'm super satisfied because it cleanses without leaving my face feeling tight. The price is a bit higher compared to other foam cleansers... So I might not repurchase it...
