  Pros

  You need to use this product after reducing the amount of mascara with a sanitized wipe. Alternatively, remove excess product from the brush with a cotton swab before use. There's just too much product initially. The volume and curling effects are great, and I've enjoyed using it. It applies cleanly and has good staying power.

  Cons

  While it should be used within 6 months after opening, I personally only use it for 4-5 months for hygiene reasons. The amount of mascara feels unnecessarily excessive. Since my lashes aren't very long, I don't need to apply that much anyway.

  Pros

  You can get it at a great price when it's on sale at Olive Young. The curling power is pretty good too. The staying power is excellent - it's so resistant that even eye makeup remover has a hard time taking it off, so it rarely smudges under normal conditions.

  Cons

  The excess fallout is extremely severe. After a few hours of wear, you'll find black powder particles scattered all over your cheeks.

  Pros

  Staying power - When applied around 8 AM, the mascara stays put without smudging until nighttime. With other brands, I always had to be careful because the mascara would smudge easily, but this product doesn't transfer even when I accidentally rub my eyes or they get wet. Holding the curl - While not perfect, it's better than previous Maybelline products. The initial curl doesn't last all day, but it's still noticeable. Volume/Long lashes - Thanks to the brush shape, lashes appear voluminous. It really showcases Maybelline's signature features. Waterproof - Although I haven't thoroughly tested it, it seems to resist smudging even when tearing up from yawning or getting splashed with water. Overall, it felt similar to other Maybelline mascaras, but this one was slightly better in terms of maintaining the curl.

  Cons

  Clumping - The mascara tends to clump when applying. You need to separate the lashes after application for a more natural look. Difficult to remove - Perhaps due to its excellent staying power, it couldn't be completely removed with just one round of cleansing oil.

  Tip

  For better hold, use an eyelash curler and primer before applying. Use tweezers to shape your lashes while applying for a more even look.
