This was my first time using a cleansing milk. I felt it was a bit watery in consistency. I was unsure if it would remove my makeup well, but it actually removed lipstick and other makeup quite effectively, which surprised me. Since this was my first time using a cleansing milk, I felt like there was still some residue left on my face after cleansing. Some may find it leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated, but I felt like I needed to rinse it off more thoroughly. It didn't feel squeaky clean, but rather like there was a film left behind. If this is typical of the cleansing milk experience, I suppose I'll need to get used to it. Overall, it was a gentle first-step cleanse without any irritation, which I appreciated.
ConsThe cleansing milk seems to have the characteristic of not being squeaky clean and leaving a somewhat less washed feeling, but other than that, there are no other downsides.

When I cleanse with this, it removes makeup without any irritation. Sometimes I'm too lazy to use anything else, and I just use this to remove my eye makeup, and it still works great. Since the ingredients are good, I don't get any breakouts, and I've been using just the cleansing oil, but now that I've tried the milk, I think I'll stick with it going forward.
ConsIt's so great that there's nothing disappointing about it. There's even a set package, so I think I'll be able to use it really well.

The fragrance is almost odorless! The texture is a bit more milky than a regular cleansing milk, with a viscous feel. If you pump out a lot of the product, it stretches out like real taro. I use it as a first cleanse, and for cleansing my bare face and in the mornings, the cleansing milk alone is sufficient. It has good cleansing power and removes makeup well. It has a clean finish without the typical slippery residue of cleansing milks.
ConsThere's really no downside, but the price is a bit high, so I'd recommend waiting for a sale! The product in my photo is the first time it's been released in a larger size!
TipWhen applying makeup, use about 3 pumps, and when going bare-faced and doing morning cleansing, use about 2 pumps! It's even better if you go through the emulsification process just like with the cleansing oil~!

In conclusion, I'm satisfied because it's gentle and doesn't cause any skin troubles👍🏻 The milk cleanser is a lotion type, so it's quickly absorbed, and I found that two pumps were enough for a thorough cleansing! Compared to other products, there's also less residual feeling, so the cleansing feels relatively refreshing☺️
ConsI'm still not sure about the drawbacks, so I'll keep using it and if there are any, I'll fix them.

Overall Evaluation ✔️ Highly recommended for sensitive and dry skin! Suitable when a gentle and moisturizing cleanse is needed. ✔️ More suitable for light cleansing rather than heavy makeup removal, and double cleansing may be required. ✔️ A good choice for those seeking vegan and low-irritation products.
ConsDisadvantages ❌ Strong makeup requires double cleansing - Waterproof products or heavy makeup cannot be removed in one step. ❌ The usage may feel unfamiliar - Compared to oil cleansers or foam cleansers, the gentle milk-type texture may feel less cleansing. ❌ The fragrance can be polarizing - The natural fragrance can be perceived differently depending on personal preference. ❌ The pump type may be disappointing - Controlling the amount dispensed can be difficult, leading to too much or too little product.

This product is particularly suitable for those with sensitive skin, providing a gentle and mild cleansing effect. Advantages: 1. Vegan Certification: The product is environmentally friendly, as it does not contain any animal-derived ingredients or undergo animal testing, and instead uses plant-based ingredients. 2. Natural Ingredients: The inclusion of various natural ingredients, including Hwahae, minimizes skin irritation and provides moisturizing benefits. It helps soothe dry skin. 3. Suitable for Sensitive Skin: The absence of fragrances and artificial colorants allows even those with sensitive skin to use the product with confidence. 4. Gentle Cleansing: The product effectively removes makeup, dirt, and other impurities without excessively drying out the skin, providing a soft and gentle cleansing experience. Disadvantages: 1. Cleansing Power: Some users have reported that the cleansing power is slightly weaker compared to traditional cleansers. Those who frequently use waterproof makeup or heavy makeup may need to cleanse their skin multiple times. 2. Price: Due to the emphasis on vegan certification and natural ingredients, the product may have a slightly higher price point compared to other cleansing products. Overall, the Hwahae vegan cleansing milk is a suitable product for users who desire gentle cleansing based on natural ingredients. It is particularly recommended for those with sensitive skin, as it does not irritate the skin and provides moisturizing benefits. However, it may not be sufficient for those who require stronger cleansing power, and this should be considered.
ConsDrawbacks: 1. Cleansing power: There are some opinions that the cleansing power is somewhat weaker compared to regular cleansers. Especially for those who frequently use waterproof makeup or heavy makeup, they may need to cleanse their face multiple times. 2. Price: Due to the emphasis on vegan certification and natural ingredients, the price range may be slightly higher compared to other cleansing products.

I've been using it for about 2 weeks, cleansing my face in the morning and evening, and I'm satisfied with it. It has a slightly denser and more dense texture compared to the Dewytree one! The makeup cleansing power is also good. It's mild and moisturizing, so there's no irritation or tightness after cleansing. My skin is sensitive, reddish, and prone to blemishes, so I've been cleansing only with cleansing milk after stopping foam cleansers, and I definitely feel my skin is getting healthier! I would repurchase it if the price was a bit lower... The price is a bit higher than other cleansing milks. Oh, and I've been using large-volume cleansing milks, but this time I bought the 200ml size, and it's too small. It's already used up a lot in just 2 weeks;;;;;
ConsThe price seems a bit higher compared to other cleansing milks.
TipThe formulation is a bit thick, so I need to emulsify it more thoroughly and rinse it more carefully!

Even after cleansing, the skin felt moisturized.
ConsThere were no particular disappointments! It would be nice if they sold the refills separately.

Then, during the Olive Day event at Olive Young, I received a sample of the Isntree Chaga Vegan Cleanser. So I decided to give it a try. I really liked the clean design of the product. It's also made with eco-friendly ink and a water-soluble label, which is great for the environment. The cleansing milk is gentle enough to use even in a dermatologist's office, as it doesn't disrupt the skin's barrier during cleansing. After using it, my skin didn't feel tight at all. It feels like washing my face with milk and lotion. Personally, I was satisfied with how soft and gentle it was. It contains plant-based phytomucin, various amino acids, and botanical extracts, so my skin felt moisturized even after just cleansing.
ConsThe Taro Milk Cleanser can protect the skin barrier while cleansing, which is good, but the cleansing power was too weak. When doing skincare, I usually finish by applying Nivea cream. The cleanser I normally use rinses off the Nivea cream well, but the Taro Milk Cleanser left an oily residue even after cleansing.

I bought and tried it! It has a dense, thread-like texture. I pumped it about three times, spread it evenly on my face, then lightly massaged it with a bit of water while cleansing. It rinsed off easily with water and felt lighter on my skin than oil, which I liked. I usually apply sunscreen and do a double cleanse, so it was hard to evaluate the cleansing power on its own, but I didn't have any trouble or breakouts after cleansing, so it seems to suit my combination/acne-prone skin well.
ConsWhen using it in the eyes, it can be a bit painful, so you should be careful when rubbing your eyes. Also, the container is opaque, so it's difficult to know exactly how much is left, which is a shame. And since it's a pump container, it's inconvenient to use up the last bit. I have to turn it upside down and shake it a lot to get the last of it out.
TipTypically, when only applying sunscreen and cleansing afterwards, 1 pump is just about right. However, when wearing makeup, 3 pumps would be ideal.
