I sometimes squeeze the sebum on my forehead, cheeks, and nose, and my face becomes blotchy the next day. But when I applied it all over my face and slept, I immediately felt the calming effect as the redness was not as severe.
This is a godsend for calming down redness.

Moisturizing 👍
I have dry skin, so light creams dry out quickly, and heavy ones tend to cause breakouts. But this product didn't dry out even by the evening, and it maintained a nice, dewy moisture level without making my face oily or greasy.

To summarize briefly, my skin is gradually becoming drier and duller - it's a combination/oily type. I'm still not a big fan of the sticky, greasy textures, but lately with the changing seasons, I've been getting a lot of stubborn blemishes, which has made me even more hesitant about using those kinds of products. But then if I don't use anything, my skin just ends up feeling parched and cracked... Especially with the heater running so much lately, it's been really tough. But this product was great - it's super moisturizing, yet has a really fresh, clean finish. It feels like it's coating my skin surface nicely, and when I apply it generously before bed, my skin is still in good shape in the morning! My previous cream was a bit on the oily side, but this one leaves my skin feeling just right - clean and ready for my next skincare steps.
Honestly, I'm not sure if it has a strong calming effect or not. I've been using a whole calming/cica line from toner to serum, and I still get the occasional stubborn blemish pop up. So I can't say for certain if this product is the reason my skin looks a bit more soothed the next day. But it's still nice that it doesn't seem to aggravate my skin, even when it's in that irritated state. And I had no issues using it before makeup either - the scent isn't overpowering at all, so I could apply it generously.
Oh, and a small but nice detail - the packaging is really hygienic, with a sealed cap and a slim opening.

Recovery creams are usually suitable for all skin types, but this product contains shea butter, which is an extremely problematic ingredient for oily skin. I tried using a small amount thinly, but broke out in blemishes after just two days, so I had to stop using it. If your skin is oily, even if it's dry underneath, you should absolutely avoid products with shea butter, as they don't agree with that skin type. I'm glad I was able to try this as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer.

The small package size made it easy to control the amount, and the thin texture allowed for quick absorption.

First, I apply it to the areas that need soothing, and once it's absorbed, I add a cream layer on top to create a protective barrier. This works even better.

My whole face is sensitive, so the only downside is that the product quantity is not that large for spot treatment.

This is the worst time of the year for me, as my skin is always irritated to the point of burning, and I have all the bad conditions like inflammation and dryness.
Fortunately, this cream is effective in soothing my skin, so I carefully applied it to the less severe areas.
It's truly the best. Other products are either too irritating or too oily, but lately I've been applying this all over my face.
The redness has subsided, and it doesn't get any worse, soothing my skin well.

2. Texture
It's not too thick or too thin, which is perfect for applying during this time of the year.
I usually only apply the soothing cream in the evening, but with this one, I can use it morning and night without any issues.

At night, if you apply this product generously and then coat your face with a panthenol cream, your skin will feel amazing the next day... (Actually, even before this product, using products with centella extract along with panthenol products has always made my skin feel better.)

When applied on sensitive skin, it can sting a bit (but only during application, and then it feels soothing afterwards).
For very dry skin or in the winter, I think you'd need to follow up with an additional moisturizing product, as this one, while moisturizing enough, may lack lasting hydration in very dry conditions.

I've been challenging my skin with high-concentration retinol products lately, and I'm very glad that this product was selected, as it was very timely. Thank you.
The formula is a soft, cream-type that is very lightweight. Since I've been using quite irritating retinol products, I layered this product twice and still didn't feel it was heavy at all. It absorbs quickly, sinking into the skin and leaving a pleasant, moisturized feel.
The narrow opening made it easy to control the amount. I think it would also work well as a spot treatment.
As for the soothing effect, I'm not sure if I noticed dramatic results yet, as I'll need to use it more. However, even when I used a good amount, my skin didn't become irritated or break out. When using this with retinol products, it didn't completely prevent the skin sensitivity and peeling that's typical of retinol, but it seemed to gently soothe those issues, allowing me to use the retinol more comfortably.
On days I didn't use retinol, I definitely noticed my skin felt more comfortable. Especially on evenings after wearing makeup, my skin felt more soothed when I used this as a base before makeup.
Overall, it's a non-burdensome, well-absorbing, lightweight yet moisturizing product that leaves my skin feeling comfortable.

In any case, as it's a cream, I use it as a finishing touch, skipping the usual moisturizer at night. It feels more like an intensive care product than a regular moisturizer! Haha. I apply it thickly around the eye area, like a sleeping pack, and the next day, my skin is left soft and supple.

For younger skin that doesn't urgently need aging care, this might be a bit heavy.

As I transitioned from my early to mid-30s, I gradually became interested in anti-aging products, which I had previously ignored. However, when I tried them, I found them to be heavy and ended up leaving them unused. This product maintains a light texture despite being functional, so it's not burdensome even for an all-purpose oily skin type like myself. It also absorbs well without any unnecessary oiliness. So I think it's a good product to use consistently without letting it sit unused. And since it has recovery properties, it works well for sensitive skin conditions after exfoliating or sebum removal.

It would be great to use it like a soothing pack - apply it generously when your skin looks red and irritated.

It may be obvious, but for someone like me with extremely dry skin, this felt a bit lacking as a finishing cream.

The package is in a tube type, which is extremely convenient!! It also looks a bit like an eye cream haha. I really liked the tube type for hygiene reasons.

Perhaps due to the pore-clogging ingredients, I experienced breakouts on the T-zone area after using this product and wearing a mask.
I often get small pimples when using products with pore-clogging ingredients and wearing a mask.
Personally, I think it would have been better if the product was non-comedogenic as well.
Surprisingly, the T-zone area, which is usually oily, did not have any trouble, but the cheek area became a complete mess, so I lowered the rating a bit.

The reason I couldn't take a picture is that my skin was completely flipped over and swollen due to a food allergy, so I couldn't feel any difference after applying the product.
The best part was the moisturizing and smooth application.
Although the areas with contact dermatitis were originally a bit dry and prone to peeling, I thought it would be okay as long as it didn't get worse. However, the moisture level was not enough, which was disappointing, considering it was a seasonal moisturizer.
Additionally, I did notice that the redness between my eyebrows was a bit less pronounced.
I usually have such visible redness that even cushion foundation can't cover it, but this time I was able to experience the rare occasion of the redness being covered by the cushion.
