As someone with extremely oily scalp, severe hair loss, vertex odor, and severe scalp acne, I've always been using just anti-hair loss shampoos. But this time, I tried a shampoo that not only helps with hair loss but also eliminates the vertex odor!

At first, when I used it for the first time, it had a slight bleach-like smell, so I didn't think much of it. But it wasn't overly bothersome.

My hair does feel a bit stiff. But if it can cover my oily scalp and hair loss, I'm more than willing to deal with that! 

I can't strongly recommend it for oily scalp and hair loss, but it does produce a lot of lather and definitely reduces the vertex odor, which is great 👍

Our daughter is 14 years old, so as she enters puberty, her scalp has been emitting odors and experiencing an oil explosion. So I tried various shampoos and was recommended to use the Dr. Groot shampoo.

The formula has a real mud pack-like feel. It has a somewhat runny consistency and produces a good amount of lather.

The scent is a subtle floral one, and it seems to linger even after rinsing the hair.

My daughter is the primary user, and since using this shampoo, the odor on the crown of her head has been significantly reduced, dandruff has subsided, and the matting issue has improved.

I've tried other famous department store brand shampoos for oily scalp and other brand recommendations, but none of them worked for me at all.

The shampoo seems to use the principle of absorbing sebum with mud, like volcanic ash/mud masks, by adding kaolin and volcanic ash ingredients to the shampoo to remove oil from the scalp. I've tried many different shampoos in my life, but this is the first time I've used a shampoo with this concept.

Rogi Musk Shampoo: Not my personal preference... The blend of floral and musk gives a heavy, perfume-like feeling.
Powdery Musk Body Wash: The general musk scent is so-so.
I haven't tried the Herbal Citrus Shampoo and Body Wash yet, but they seem like they would suit the summer better.

In the morning after washing my hair, my scalp doesn't itch or smell unpleasant until the evening. 
Since I bought it expecting more functional benefits rather than the scent, I'll use it for a few more days and see if I'll repurchase if I like it.

I've been using it for 2-3 days now, and it does seem like this scalp shampoo suits my scalp better than the anti-hair loss shampoos.
