The most foolproof way to apply is to trace along your lip line, then draw once on your bottom lip and gently pat to blend. This seems to work best.

You might not even need to carry a separate lip balm. (For severe dead skin cells: I wash my hands and use them to spread the product evenly, resulting in a glossy lip finish without any pilling.) As for the color, it's perfect for my naturally pigmented lips. I usually neutralize my lip color with foundation or concealer before applying lip products, and this deep undertone shade is an absolute perfect match. One swipe gives a light beige-apricot tint, while two or more layers build up to a rich gochujang red! You can create different looks depending on how you layer it.

The main drawbacks are its small size and high price. If you use it frequently, you'll go through it quickly, which can be quite costly.
