Pros
I have oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin, so I can't use just any basic skincare line. However, I happened to win an event and received the Ginkgo Shield Pads, so I've been using them for 2 weeks and am a bit late in doing the survey and writing the review. The good things were that the moisture level was good - it felt plump and bouncy. The ampoule was also fully packed in the container. Above all, the fact that the pads were fully saturated with the ampoule was the best part. I think I used them once a day, either in the evening or morning. The moisture lasted well, and my skin texture improved, becoming clearer and nicer overall. The built-in tweezers were also convenient and neat.
Cons
The only downside was that the pads seemed a bit thick, but I think it can be improved.
Tip
I didn't just leave them at room temperature, but stored them in the refrigerator and used them. If you want a cooling effect, I recommend storing them in the fridge. I'm really glad that it didn't irritate my sensitive skin after using it. The weather has been very dry lately, and just applying it on my cheeks has kept them moisturized and feeling great. I was just about to buy a pad when I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer! Can you see how much essence is inside? It's amazing! It also came with a tweezer, which was really convenient. It's not too light or too heavy, so I was able to get just the right amount of moisture and hydration.
Cons
I used to use a scrub brush every day, but I've stopped that and just pat it on with my hands. I heard it can be irritating, so I'm not sure if that's why, but my skin feels a bit rough...

Pros
The pad was advertised as being made of soft cotton that minimizes skin irritation, and it certainly felt very soft! Although I have oily skin, I have a dry skin type, so providing moisture and hydration is extremely important for me. It definitely felt very moisturized! I really liked the non-sticky feeling. I also have very problematic acne-prone skin with lots of acne scars, and when using the pad to wipe my skin, the irritation to my acne was much less, which was great! My skin also tends to break out easily if I use the wrong product, so I was a bit worried when trying this, but I didn't get any new breakouts, so it was great to use without any issues! The fact that this pad is non-irritating is absolutely wonderful!
Cons
The scent is quite refreshing! Personally, I'm not a big fan of light, airy scents in cosmetics, so I wasn't a huge fan of it. But the scent only lasts briefly, so it's not a major downside. It's a scent that some may love and others may not.
Tip
Using the pad when it's chilled feels really nice! Especially before makeup application, when my skin tends to feel a bit heated, the cooling sensation helps the makeup apply much better. So keeping the pads stored in a cool place and using them that way is definitely recommended!

As someone who always uses pads, I've come to prefer products that have a built-in case. That was the first thing I really liked about it. The essence is abundant, and the moisture content is good, so it was nice to apply it like a face mask.

The pad clamp is built into the container, so it's great for hygienic use. These days, my skin has been flipping over, so I've been applying it as a pack, and the area I've applied it to has become fully moisturized and smooth. However, it's temporary, and by the next day, it's back to the way it was. So I've been applying it before bed every night, and I feel like it's improving little by little. Haha.
