We never give overly generous ratings just because it's a Hwahae Testers review! First, my skin type is combination dehydrated, super sensitive, and acne-prone. I hope this review will be helpful for those with a similar complexion to mine! I was about to start my period when I won this product, and I was menstruating during the actual use. For someone with super sensitive skin, being on your period? It becomes ultra-ultra-sensitive.. As you can see from my before photo, my skin became incredibly sensitive (wry smile). I'm at the point where I'll break out if I don't wipe my phone with an alcohol swab, haha... So, with my skin primed as a blank canvas, I used the product diligently for a few days... As a pad enthusiast who's tried many different types, I'll use Skinfood's Carrot Pad as a benchmark for comparison. If asked about repurchasing, I think I would! Let me start with the advantages: u2705Hygienic Packaging What sets this product apart is its focus on hygiene. I was impressed by the meticulous packaging when I first received it. It seems they've put a lot of thought into the overall packaging. First, there's a built-in tweezer. Usually, tweezers tend to move around a lot, right? I'm impatient, so I often end up not using them. But with this product, there's a place to insert the tweezer, so it doesn't move around. Even impatient me was able to use the tweezer consistently! I'll attach a photo. Please excuse the bedding in the background - I took the picture in a hurry! u2705Excellent for Soothing As someone with ultra-sensitive skin, it's excellent for soothing when applied at night! Honestly, the soothing effect was more noticeable than the hydration. Usually, during my period, my whole face turns red and flares up right after washing, but after applying this, I could feel it calming down. Looking at the before and after, you can see the overall redness has decreased (sorry for the poor image quality, it got like that when I zoomed in). Especially when I had acne on my chin, after extracting and applying this, it calmed down significantly. I wanted to take a picture of my chin, but couldn't get the angle right. It was very soothing for menstrual acne on the chin! This was the main reason I would repurchase it.. Personally, I found the soothing effect similar to Skinfood's Carrot Pad! u2705Suitable for Day Use Despite Being a Night Product I was worried it might be too rich since it's for nighttime use, but it was surprisingly light and good for soothing the skin before makeup! Those with combination dehydrated skin will understand.. If it's too light, it doesn't provide enough hydration and your skin cracks, but if it's too rich, it clogs pores and causes milia! Fortunately, this isn't too rich and balances moisture levels appropriately. I actually used it more during the day, and found it better than using it alone at night. The fact that it wasn't too rich was actually a plus! Also, one side has an embossed texture, making it great for quick swipes to refine the skin. Anyway, highly recommended for combination dehydrated skin ud83dudc4d u2705Generous Amount If you frequently buy and use pads, you know the amount is always too small. It always feels like they run out so quickly after just a few uses... I've always thought pads weren't very cost-effective... But when I opened this, I couldn't help but laugh. Those who receive it will know - the amount is huge! I used to always cut pads in half and apply them thinly, but with this, I can apply it generously all over my face. Also, the pad size is large, making it good for covering the face. One sheet is enough to cover one side of the cheek! Not bad in terms of cost-effectiveness!!!
Consu274eSatisfactory for Combination Dehydrated Skin, but for Dry Skin...? While it's marketed as a night product and suits me perfectly, I think those with dry skin might find the hydration and richness lacking when applied to their skin. Especially if used alone, it might even feel drying, and you might feel the need to apply something else. Usually, when we think of a 'night' product, we expect it to be sufficient on its own, but it might not be enough for those with dry skin. I feel like the Skinfood Carrot Pad actually provided better hydration... u274eThick Pads, Not Ideal for Mask-like Use Since it's a night product, I wanted to leave it on my face like a mask, but the pads were too thick to do so comfortably. Thin pads usually adhere well to the skin, right? But these are thick, so the adherence is a bit disappointing. It would have been better if they had designed it specifically for mask-like use...
Tipud83cudf6f Using it before and after makeup is great for refining skin texture..! Although it's a night product, I found it even better to use before and after makeup!
