The gentle and mild feel was the most satisfying aspect. When lathered well in your palms, it creates a good foam and isn't irritating, making it comfortable even for sensitive scalps. Being slightly acidic, it balances the oil and moisture on the scalp nicely, and I liked that it didn't leave my hair feeling too stiff after washing. This would be great for those concerned about hair loss who are looking for a gentle, non-irritating product. However, it was a bit disappointing that the hair loss improvement effects were difficult to notice in the short term. Also, for those with extremely dry scalps or severe dead skin cell buildup, the hydration might be slightly lacking. It feels more effective to brush your hair before shampooing to remove some debris. Also, instead of applying the shampoo directly to your scalp, it's beneficial to work up a lather in your palms first, then massage it into your scalp, and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. This approach is said to promote scalp health. - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 15, 2023
I recently noticed a lot of hair loss, so I bought this beer yeast shampoo on a friend's recommendation. While autumn is typically a season when hair naturally sheds more, it's still scary when you suddenly start losing hair, right? After using it for a while, I definitely saw a reduction in hair fall. I also had a lot of dandruff before, but that decreased too. The effects are certainly impressive. The fragrance is absolutely lovely as well - it's a scent that everyone would enjoy. I'm planning to repurchase, maybe try a different scent next time! Overall, I'm very satisfied. The texture is a bit disappointing. It's quite runny, so it drips easily when you tilt the bottle. You need to be careful not to spill it when using! It works even better when used with a scalp massager. I recommend using one of those scalp massagers available at Olive Young - just gently massage it in for best results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 14, 2023
After using it for over a month, I noticed a significant reduction in scalp itchiness. I've been alternating it with another low-pH shampoo, but I'm really pleased with how much less itchy my scalp feels now. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit lacking, and while there's been some improvement in hair loss, I'm disappointed that the issue hasn't completely resolved. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2023
The lather is just right and it has great cleansing effectiveness. Most importantly, I could really notice less hair falling out when using this. I don't have any major complaints, but if I had to mention something, the scent was a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 8, 2023
My scalp was worsening due to seborrheic dermatitis, so I've tried many hair loss shampoos. Among them, this beer yeast shampoo is my favorite. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but after using it for a few months, I feel like I'm seeing some new hair growth. The scent and ingredients are all great. It seems that yeast and enzymes are beneficial for people no matter where they're used! There's nothing particularly bad to mention, but I'm writing this to meet the minimum character requirement. I haven't tried this many times, but since it's beer yeast, wouldn't it be more effective to massage it into the scalp and leave it for a while before rinsing, rather than washing it off immediately? - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 15, 2022
The fragrance is absolutely amazing!! After washing my hair, it feels so refreshing and I think I'm losing less hair!! Oh, and even though it's an anti-hair loss shampoo, it doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or stiff. So far, I'm generally satisfied with it. I'll continue using it and update if anything changes.
