  Pros

  True to its 'watery' name, this has the lightest texture of any hair essence I've used! It doesn't leave any greasy residue on your hands or weigh down your hair. What I love most is that it's not sticky at all - that's a huge plus! The scent is subtle - I can barely tell if it's there or not after applying. There's a faint citrus fragrance. I was surprised at first that it doesn't have a separate cap, but as I used it, I realized it's actually more convenient without one! I probably wouldn't have used the cap anyway. It might be tricky to travel with, but it does have a locking mechanism. While you can't expect deep nourishment, it's perfect for a light application.

  Cons

  Since it's lighter than other products, it may not be suitable if your hair is very damaged and you need intense nourishment. In that case, you might want to look for a different product...

  I've always been a fan of Mise-en-Scene's yellow product, but it felt heavy for summer. So I bought this Watery version, and it's definitely lighter with great absorption. The citrusy scent is pleasant and inoffensive. When it comes to value for money, you can't beat Mise-en-Scene essences!

  The scent has a slight oily smell which is a bit disappointing, but it's not overpowering.

  However, as I was nearing the end of the product, it started spraying everywhere when pumped. This was the biggest drawback. Still, it's great for taming frizzy hair when applied. It's not ideal for damage care, but it's a nice hair serum for frequent, casual use throughout the day.

  After applying this and drying my hair, it dries faster and leaves my hair feeling smooth without being overly slick. It really improves the texture of my hair, which I love. The scent is a pleasant blend of woody and citrus notes, not overpowering at all.

  Cons

  There's not much to dislike about it. I just wish they had sales more often... It's a bit pricey to purchase when it's not on sale.
