It doesn't have an overwhelming hydration feel, but it's slightly rich without being sticky, making it perfect for applying all over. My skin becomes incredibly soft and smooth, and it stays moisturized until morning. As for the scent, if you really put your nose to it, there's just a faint cream smell - it doesn't seem to have any added fragrance specifically for aroma. While it can be used on the face, I find it a bit too heavy for my oily skin type.
