It has great spray power and provides a comfortable mist that's hydrating without being too sticky. I use it often on days when the indoor heating is on high or when the air is particularly dry. It's both a pro and a con - the spray power is so good that you can barely feel it on your face when you apply it! I spritz it multiple times on dry days for extra hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2022
It has great hydration power and gives a subtle glow. Being in mist form makes it easy and convenient to use. The pleasant application makes it handy to spritz frequently. It's great for use over makeup, perfect for these days when we're using air conditioning all day, and it should work well even in dry winter months. Even for someone with super sensitive skin like me, it's suitable to use. As it's a hydrating product, it might feel a bit sticky and heavy during humid summer days. You can also use it as a quick mask by soaking a cotton pad generously with the product. When your skin feels dry from air conditioning, try spritzing it over your makeup occasionally to help combat that dry feeling. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinJun 21, 2022
I was lucky enough to win this product in a cosmetics survey, and I've been using it for about a month and a half now. Here's my honest take on it: First, it's an all-in-one skincare product that's more than enough on its own. Second, it's incredibly easy to use. Third, it has gentle ingredients that don't cause any irritation. When I traveled, this was the only skincare product I needed to bring! If one spritz wasn't enough, I'd just apply it a few more times and let it absorb. It penetrates deep into the skin, eliminating any deep dryness or dehydration. I loved the subtle glow it gave me! What I especially appreciated was that it solved my usual dilemma of feeling too oily after applying sunscreen over my skincare. Since using this product, that's no longer an issue. When I first started using it, my hands were very dry and flaky, but after spraying and letting it absorb, the dryness subsided. Even when it touched sensitive areas, there was no tingling sensation at all - it's that gentle. I'm still only using this mist serum for my skincare routine! If you're looking for a gentle, vegan product, I highly recommend this one. The only downside, if I had to pick one, is that because it's a spray, you might need to apply it multiple times if your skin needs a lot of hydration. But honestly, that's not really a big issue in terms of usage. I found that spraying once after washing my face, letting it absorb, and then spraying once more was just the right amount. It was so convenient for traveling - I didn't have to pack multiple products! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 2, 2022
This was my first time trying a mist serum, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But surprisingly, even though it's a mist, when I spray it on and pat it in, my whole face feels firmer! It seems to have more oil than hydration, but I think it would work well even for those with oily skin without feeling heavy. Being a mist makes it more convenient than bottled serums. To be honest, I have acne-prone skin, so I'm usually worried about trying new products, but the ingredients must be good because I didn't break out. It even seems to have reduced my small bumps! If I had to mention a downside, I'm not really sure how effective it is for brightening. Also, when I first received the product, either it was shaken during shipping or the cap wasn't closed properly, because it leaked a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJun 1, 2022
The biggest advantage is that this single product can handle everything from skincare to soothing care. The spray power is excellent, covering the entire face with a burst of hydration in just one spritz. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found it convenient to just carry this one item for skincare when traveling, especially in this weather. Those with very dry skin might need to layer this with an emulsion or cream. However, other skin types should be able to use it without any issues. I love how you can saturate a thin cotton pad with the Hamel mist and place it on skin that's flushed from hot weather. It gives a soothing sensation that feels like it's calming the redness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 31, 2022
I love that it doesn't have a strong scent. There's a slight woody aroma, but it's natural and not artificial, which I appreciate. It hydrates quickly. The cooling effect is great, and it absorbs rapidly, leaving my skin feeling moisturized in no time. The spray mechanism is excellent. The fine mist covers a wide area, making it easy to apply. While it absorbs quickly, I feel like the hydration doesn't last very long. I think it might be best to reapply frequently. It's perfect for a light spritz in the summer. For an extra refreshing boost, try keeping it in the fridge! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMay 31, 2022
Product satisfaction: 5 out of 5 stars (See details) My skin type: Mid-20s Redness, small blemishes, whiteheads under chin, enlarged pores in T-zone Combination to dry, super sensitive skin T-zone and cheeks: Normal U-zone: Dry Redness and small blemishes mainly on chin, forehead, and cheeks Pros: The fine mist spray makes it so convenient to use! As someone who tends to spritz mists liberally, I love that it doesn't dispense too much product at once. Being a vegan product with no added fragrance is a huge plus for me, as I'm not a fan of scented skincare. The ingredients speak for themselves - they're fantastic! Unlike some mists that can exacerbate dryness, this one seems to combat deep dryness without feeling sticky. It's super portable and perfect for frequent touch-ups throughout the day. Cons: While a single spritz after makeup application creates a beautiful glow, it might be too much to use frequently. If you're looking to boost hydration before makeup, you may need to layer it 2-3 times. Pro tip: For best results, use immediately after cleansing or apply a light mist over makeup for an instant glow! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 28, 2022
First off, I'm thrilled to have been chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers! I'll share my review after using the product for about a week. 1. Texture, Application, and Absorption: The spray format makes it incredibly convenient to use, which is a huge plus. It absorbs into the skin quite nicely, leaving a fresh feeling. There's a slight stickiness after absorption, but since it's a serum and I layer other products on top, it doesn't cause any real discomfort. 2. Hygiene: The spray bottle is a major advantage in terms of hygiene. It's much more sanitary than products with droppers. The transparent container also gives me peace of mind. 3. Ingredients: Although it's not yet widely available, the brand itself is vegan, so I feel confident about the ingredients. I'm quite sensitive to certain components and won't use products with harmful ingredients, even if I've won them. This product, however, seems trustworthy! 1. Hydration: This was the most disappointing aspect. My skin is combination (oily T-zone, very dry elsewhere). About two days after I started using the serum mist, the area around my mouth became extremely dry. I hadn't changed any other part of my skincare routine, but my face felt noticeably drier. I'm quite sensitive to these changes, so I picked up on it quickly. It seems the hydration isn't as effective as I'd hoped. This might be better suited for those with very oily skin, especially in summer. When I had my husband (who has very oily skin) try it after it didn't work for me, he found it refreshingly nice. Since I tend to be on the drier side, the lack of hydration was disappointing for me. 2. Recommended Skin Type: Oily Rather than calling it a holy grail product, I'd say it's best suited for specific skin types! It might be a bit lacking in hydration for dry skin, so it seems like a good option for those with oily skin, especially during summer. Also, after reading other reviews, I noticed some people use it even after applying makeup! I only used it before, but apparently it works well for touching up your complexion throughout the day too. So I'd recommend it for skin touch-ups as well! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 26, 2022
I loved how the mist sprays evenly thanks to its great dispersal power. It's so convenient to use anytime since it's a spray. Plus, the ingredients are excellent, so it doesn't cause blemishes or much irritation to the skin, which is fantastic. When I sprayed it on my face, it felt moisturizing at first, but as it dried, it left a slightly heavy feeling. Because of this, I probably won't reach for it often, except when using it before makeup or as a mask. After a month of use, the spray power that was initially good now comes out like a water gun. I'm not sure why this is happening. If you spray from too far away, the liquid might disperse into the air. Try spraying closer to your face or press the nozzle all the way down for better application. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 26, 2022
I loved how easy it was to apply all over my face thanks to the fine mist spray. The amount that comes out seems a bit small, so I used it with two or three sprays. I have sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any blemishes. In fact, it helped calm my skin that was acting up, so I used it without worry. As the weather has gotten quite warm, I've been using it as a mist over my makeup when I'm out. It sprays evenly, so it doesn't smudge my makeup but keeps it hydrated, which is really convenient. The spray nozzle was a bit stiff, making it slightly uncomfortable to press down. If you apply sunscreen, spray this on, and then put on foundation, your makeup goes on beautifully!
