  The charm of this product lies in its simplicity. While I didn't notice any dramatic skin improvements (like you might with specialized skincare), I can confidently say it caused zero irritation! After using this, I tried other products and felt deep dryness and tingling on sensitive areas like my lips. Given its simple ingredients, I'd describe this as a gentle cleanser that's perfect for super sensitive skin.

  While the cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it for those with very oily skin!

  Pros

  The texture feels incredibly smooth and silky! The cleansing effectiveness is quite good. After emulsifying your makeup with a cleansing oil, if you thoroughly cleanse around the eyes, it removes everything without leaving any residue. Just note that the Original version leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean after use. While it didn't bother me, the scent isn't unscented - it has a slight milk or soy smell. Those sensitive to fragrances might not like it. It's definitely worth trying if you're curious during a trip to Japan!

  As someone with extremely dehydrated skin, I found that the squeaky clean finish made my skin feel tight right after washing. Apart from that, it's just an average foam cleanser.
