It provides a natural brightening effect while applying smoothly, with no eye irritation. Works well for dry skin types. The texture is too creamy, making it a bit heavy for summer use. A lighter sunscreen would be preferable. Except for summer, on days when you're not wearing makeup, it offers decent base coverage with its brightening effect. - a0**********Oily SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsMar 31, 2025
As it's a Physiogel product, it doesn't cause any blemishes even on my sensitive skin When applying with hands, it tends to pill a bit. It seems better suited as a regular sunscreen rather than a brightening moisturizer - sd********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2025
I've been using Physiogel's basic sunscreen, so I thought this might have similar ingredients and decided to give it a try. It's great for those days when I don't feel like wearing makeup, as it naturally evens out my skin tone. As someone with dry skin, I love how moisturizing it is. Since it's primarily a brightening moisturizer, I appreciate that it doesn't make my skin look unnaturally bright - it's more subtle and natural-looking. If you're looking for more coverage, you might want to opt for a BB cream instead. Also, I think the smaller size is great for portability, as long as the price doesn't increase too much. When I applied this over my Physiogel emulsion, it pilled a bit. I'm not sure if it's because I applied too much of the emulsion, but I'll try using less next time and see how it goes. Remember to apply your base products sparingly to avoid pilling! - sb****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedJan 19, 2025
This product is great as a base since it naturally evens skin tone. It has a slightly rich texture, so a light dusting of powder might be a good idea. As someone with dry skin, I find it a bit heavy and occasionally it causes dead skin cells to surface, which is disappointing. - ji******Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 14, 2025
I've been using this for 6 months now. It's a sunscreen that provides a natural brightening effect, making it perfect for daily use. It doesn't cover blemishes, and there's a slight richness to it. The amount is way too small - when I use it frequently, it barely lasts a month. - kd*****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedDec 7, 2024
I was a sunscreen nomad for years... From luxury brands to drugstore options, I've tried almost every oil-free sunscreen out there. After using a product from The Face Shop for over 5 years, it was discontinued, and I became a nomad again until I found this holy grail. I'm now on my nth bottle. I apply sunscreen quite generously, so one tube lasts less than a month. At duty-free shops, it's available for just under or slightly over 10,000 won, so I always keep at least 5 in stock. For those with adult acne and super oily skin who find that every sunscreen feels sticky (with hair sticking to your face), I highly recommend trying this one! I wish they'd come out with a larger size! The current volume is too small... - ch*********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 4, 2024
When you apply this, it feels like your skin has a protective barrier, making it firm and bouncy. It also has a slight brightening effect, which is great. It might not be suitable for younger users when mixed with sunscreen and foundation. You can save money by using this instead of foundation. - ja******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 24, 2024
It effectively filled in pores and applied smoothly, making my skin texture look improved Oil frequently surfaced quickly, making it less than ideal for summer use Recommended for those who enjoy moisturizing products or have skin types that don't produce much oil - im********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2024
Absorbs smoothly and feels nice, like an emulsion. When first applied, it's barely noticeable, but over time it naturally evens skin tone. Perfect for busy days when you just need to quickly apply one product and go. The coverage is a bit on the lighter side. Initially, there was a slight burning sensation, but with continued use, my skin adapted. You can enhance the coverage by mixing it with BB cream or foundation. - le********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresAug 25, 2024
It's gentle on the skin and I've used it without any blemishes. I'm using it as a substitute for sunscreen. However, it's richer than expected, and the brightening and coverage effects are practically non-existent. It's also a bit too rich to use as a base, which can lead to pilling.
