  My skin type: Oily with dehydration / Large pores and lots of blackheads Acne-prone (both closed comedones and pustules) I stumbled upon this product through a friend's recommendation. First off, it lives up to its name as a hydrating cream, providing excellent moisture. The texture is smooth and it absorbs well into the skin. It's not a lightweight cream, but it's not heavy either. It strikes a good balance between oil and moisture content. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. The scent is floral-based, reminiscent of a perfume, which I found pleasant. I'd recommend this for dry skin types and combination dehydrated skin in winter. However, I wouldn't suggest it for those with very oily skin.

  As someone with oily skin, I noticed a slightly greasy feeling on the surface after application. While it's fine for winter, those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy during the summer months.

  Pros

  I received this as a Hwahae Tester, and even though I'm not obligated to review, I'm leaving one because it's so good! I have combination skin, and with winter, my cheeks were getting very dry. I've been using this consistently, and the instant hydration when applied is amazing. The texture isn't too watery, so the moisturizing effect lasts longer! Plus, it smells great and didn't cause any blemishes on my skin.

  Cons

  There's a spatula included in the box, but it would be more convenient if it could be improved to fit inside the cream lid.

  <Hwahae Review> I used this product with my parents to get a wider range of opinions. ✅ 50s parents: They were satisfied that it has a slight richness and feels moisturizing, preventing the face from feeling tight even after washing. ✅ The fragrance is a bit stronger than a subtle scent, with floral notes.   Skin type: Sensitive + Combination dehydrated + Blemish-prone Application method: Before bed, I used the provided spoon to scoop out about two portions and applied it! -> It's hydrating enough to use alone without any dryness! Ingredients: Floral water + Triple hyaluronic acid + Ceramide - Floral water: Contains aromatic oils, giving a pleasant natural scent - my personal post-work healing ritual... - Hyaluronic acid: Boosts hydration - Ceramide: Prevents moisture loss -> The lovely fragrance lifts my mood while instantly hydrating my winter-dry skin!! Texture: - Initially: Feels rich - Later: Skin feels plump as it absorbs -> It might seem a bit rich at first, but it absorbs well overall => For those layering with other products like emulsions, it's best to wait for it to absorb first :) Before / After photo description: - Before: See those white patches? That's dead skin cells... - After: Hydrated -> dead skin cells are less visible - Palm photo: As you can see on my palm, less dry areas retain a rich feel, but wait a bit and it absorbs completely! Skin improvements: - Refines skin texture - Hydration boost -> Increases skin's firmness and elasticity - Soothing effect: Applying to blemish-prone areas calmed and reduced the size of blemishes Blemish occurrence: - No blemishes caused by this product!

  The spoon: - Not attached to the moisturizer lid, so it might be easy to lose when traveling - The spoon wasn't enclosed separately but was in the moisturizer box, so I wiped it with an alcohol swab before use! Personally, I think it would be better if they made the moisturizer lid taller and designed it so the spoon could be folded and stored inside.

  Tip

  The spoon can easily collect dust, so I recommend storing it in a ziplock bag! This product needs a bit of time to absorb! If you wait a little longer for it to absorb, it'll be easier to determine how much of your next product to apply :)

  I used to have severe redness and a lot of blemishes on my skin, but after using this product, it's improved so much! At first, I applied it without thinking much, but I was pleasantly surprised! It has great hydration, feels moisturizing, and I love the scent. These days, I'm only using this with my toner!! It's honestly the first cream that really works for me, so I'm 100% going to repurchase!

  There's really nothing to complain about, but if I had to pick something, it would be the spatula. The spatula is too long, making it difficult to store.

It's not a thick consistency, but more like a slightly heavier emulsion. It might not be enough as a final step in the dead of winter, but it's perfect for this time of year. The scent is pleasant, and even though I have super sensitive skin, I've been using it without any issues.

  I apply it twice at night. After the first application is somewhat absorbed, I apply it again and then spritz some mist - it really makes my face glow. The photo shows my skin after using it consistently for 2 full weeks. The 4th image is right after application, and you can see how radiant it looks. Even without applying anything, my skin has a glow like in the 3rd image.
