I know that mild acidic cleansers help protect the skin barrier, but they tend to have weaker cleansing power.
Cons
Even among mild acidic cleansers, some seem to have unusually weak cleansing power. As an oily-skinned person, I did find a mild acidic cleanser that worked well for me, but it wasn't quite enough for my morning cleansing routine. It might work well for dry, sensitive skin types.
