Unfortunately, this caused my skin to become irritated, dry, and even develop wounds. Most skincare products stung upon application, so I was looking for a product with simple ingredients that wouldn't burden my skin and contained centella extract, known for its soothing properties. That's when I came across this product and decided to give it a try. As expected, due to its simple formulation, it didn't sting or cause discomfort when applied to my skin, making it easy to use. The price-to-quantity ratio is also great, allowing for generous application.
ConsIf I had to point out any downsides, I'd mention the herbal scent and the watery texture. Since no artificial fragrances are added, the natural scent of the centella extract and other botanical ingredients comes through, which might not be to everyone's liking. Personally, I enjoy the natural scent of ingredients, but it could be divisive. I've seen many reviews describing the texture as runny, but whether due to a reformulation or not, I found it to be more like a water toner. With my thin, very dry, and easily irritated skin, I never use exfoliating toners and prefer to pat products into my skin. However, I found this toner a bit too watery for my preferred application method, making it slightly inconvenient to use.
TipThe generous quantity allows for liberal use without worry. I like to apply it abundantly as the first step in my skincare routine to thoroughly hydrate my skin. Then, after applying richer or oilier products, I use it again as a final step. This helps everything absorb better, reducing any greasy or sticky feeling for a nice finish.

It absorbs well when applied, and I didn't experience any tingling or irritation when it got into my eyes. I use it as part of my hydration routine. Moisturizing Power: Perhaps due to the winter season, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found that the moisturizing effect didn't last very long. After some time, there's a slight oily residue. I use it lightly after cleansing, not for layering. While I didn't expect much given its bang for your buck price and centella asiatica content, the overall ingredient list is good, making it a decent option for its price. In terms of hydration, it's not exceptional but works well for everyday use! Volume & Packaging: At 300ml for just $5, I quickly picked it up at Daiso. It's excellent in terms of value for money. At this price point, it's great to have such a large quantity to use. They claim to use a water-soluble label, which does peel off easily, though some adhesive remains.
ConsScent: The fragrance has an artificial peppermint-like quality, with a distinct sharp scent that wasn't to my liking. Not Recommended for: Those with dry skin types might find it a bit drying.
TipI'm using an appropriate amount on my face after cleansing in the morning or evening, before applying cream. It might be more suitable for summer use rather than winter.
