When I first applied it, I was quite anxious as an inexperienced user - I wasn't sure if the white cast would remain that intense even after spreading it out. As someone with neither very fair nor very dark skin, I'm not a big fan of the brightening effect. Ah, I kept patting it in, worried that it wouldn't absorb, but it does eventually sink in, though it still leaves a slight sheen. And the slightly tacky feel wasn't the best match for my skin type. Those looking for a more pronounced brightening might be satisfied, though.

I'm quite particular about choosing sunscreen, but a friend raved about this product, so I tried it out. It absorbs surprisingly well. I haven't tried applying makeup over it yet, but even after a few reapplications, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy (which are the most important factors for me in terms of longevity and feel).
