It seems like oil is definitely necessary for winter use. If only they could lower the price a bit... It could really be a holy grail for skincare basics, which is a shame.

I tried samples of Beautyjournal toner, mask pack, and cream. The cream has a gel-like consistency rather than being thick, and it absorbs beautifully. Even though it's winter, I was curious about the product quality, so I did my night care routine with just the mask pack, cream, and two drops of jojoba oil, without adding any other ampoules. I loved how it kept my skin hydrated longer than when I apply multiple products.

However, I don't have much trust in this brand because I previously used their toner and it caused my skin to break out badly.

I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive and prone to redness. My skin is particularly vulnerable to oils, strong vitamin ingredients, and alcohol. My biggest concern is my pores. This product has a subtle, non-irritating fragrance and absorbs well.

I couldn't really feel any lifting effect... which is unfortunate!

Although this was originally a Hwahae Testers review, I'm adding an update now that some time has passed. First off, I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes!

The texture itself isn't sticky or heavy, but rather like a hydrating moisturizer. Compared to regular moisturizers, it does feel a bit richer in terms of oil content. 

I think it would be perfect for use during seasonal changes. Despite feeling slightly oily, I liked that it didn't cause any blemishes.

When I mix it with oil and apply it before bed, it works like a sleeping pack. It's fantastic!

I'm a bit concerned about hygiene since you have to scoop it out with your fingers, but I always wash my hands before applying, so I guess it should be fine.

The thick, creamy texture is absolutely my style! I usually prefer moisturizing lines over soothing ones, and this is perfect for me. I've finally found a product I can settle down with after a long time.

I found the scent a bit disappointing...

I received this cream as part of The Hwahae Testers program!
First off, I have dry skin, blemishes, and visible pores!
For some reason, my cheeks have been very dry lately,
so I was thrilled to get this cream through The Hwahae Testers... I've used it for a week now.
The texture is quite thick but absorbs quickly!
The hydration isn't super intense, but it's pretty good!
There's no residue or excess oiliness at all,
but that doesn't mean it lacks oil.
I'd say it's about 60% moisture, 40% oil.
I didn't apply it to my forehead since that area isn't very dry for me (I recommend those with oily skin test it out before using!)

It's perfect to apply before makeup - no flaking or pilling
When applied generously before bed, the skin feels comfortable the next day, with no adverse effects

I wish the quantity was larger so I could use it generously for a longer time

Given that it's called a lifting cream, I gently massaged it in after application, which improved my complexion. Applying this cream over a hydrating serum really boosted the moisturizing effect, keeping my skin hydrated until morning. The photo order is: cream - bare skin - after applying cream and massaging - texture.

There weren't any downsides apart from containing some potential allergens. Oh! If I had to mention one thing, it would be that it's a bit pricey for the amount you get.

Now that I'm in my 30s and more interested in anti-aging, I was thrilled to be selected as a Hwahae Tester and used this product diligently. In the mornings, I applied my regular moisturizer, and every evening I followed a routine of toner pad, hydrating serum, and this lifting cream. After application, I did my daily lifting massage!

The ingredients are skin-friendly! Many anti-aging and rich nourishing creams often have some not-so-great ingredients, but this one was clean and usable.

The texture is like a hydrating cream with a drop of oil! That's the best way to describe its application and finish. Because of this texture, I could apply it generously without feeling heavy on the skin.

Beautiful packaging! This might be subjective, but the cream jar and packaging have a modern vibe. I loved how clean and pretty it looks.

It's disappointing that it comes in a jar instead of a more hygienic tube packaging. There's no spatula included either.
I believe jar packaging should always come with a spatula as part of the product set.

   - I can't pinpoint the exact scent, but it reminds me of freshly cut grass.

    During seasonal changes or winter, my cheeks become even drier, requiring extra cream application.

    I replaced my usual morning and evening moisturizer with the Snow Lotus Lifting Cream in my skincare routine. Despite substituting it for my regular moisturizer, I didn't experience any particular dryness. Usually, when I use creams other than my moisturizer, my T-zone can feel excessively oily, but this cream didn't leave that rich feeling.
It seems to balance oil and moisture well. 
I also tried layering it over my moisturizer, and it didn't cause any pilling and absorbed well.
It would be great to apply an extra layer when the skin feels dry during winter or seasonal transitions.

I think I've found a new cream that I really like after a long time!

For best results, use the lifting cream in conjunction with a gua sha tool!

The lifting effect was less noticeable than expected. The product became oily and caused itching over time. The lack of a spatula for application was disappointing.

As someone with acne-prone skin, products with high oil content often cause breakouts. This cream applies smoothly without stickiness initially, but over time, it does become quite rich. While it provides decent hydration, I wouldn't recommend it for acne-prone skin due to the increasing oiliness.

When applying, there's a slight film-like sensation on the skin. The initial finish is clean without stickiness, but it becomes quite rich over time.

• Skin irritation
Perhaps due to the shea butter, my skin felt itchy and uncomfortable after a while, possibly from clogged pores.

Most importantly, while the non-sticky finish was nice initially, the increasing richness and itchiness were concerning. Fortunately, it didn't cause major breakouts, just a few small blemishes. I might use it in colder weather for hydration, focusing on areas needing lifting, possibly with a gua sha tool.

• Design and packaging
I appreciated the glass container and the simple, clean green and white color scheme. A spatula would have been a nice addition.

• Fragrance
A subtle floral scent that wasn't overwhelming during use.

The feeling of skin becoming firm and plump seemed a bit lacking. However, if you use it like a regular nourishing cream, that aspect should be sufficiently covered.

I could feel the plump hydration being held in my skin. Recently, due to the cool winds day and night, I noticed my skin had become slightly dry. After using this product, I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but my skin, which used to be oily and full of sebum every evening, now feels moisturized. Even when I wake up in the morning, the hydration is still there - to the point where I don't want to wash my face! It seems like a great product!

While I applied it all over my face for the review, as someone with acne-prone skin, I think it would be better suited for gua sha massage in the future. I feel it could provide better lifting effects than plain oil when used for gua sha on the jaw, forehead, and cheek areas!

The formula might be too rich for those with oily, acne-prone skin. I was a bit concerned it might clog my pores while applying. It was difficult to see any dramatic wrinkle improvement or lifting effects in just a few days.

As a lucky winner of The Hwahae Testers, I'm writing this review after using the product for a week! First off, I loved that the texture was a lightweight hydrating cream, not too heavy. When applied, it felt richer compared to other moisturizers. It was great to wake up the next morning feeling my skin was more hydrated. Despite having acne-prone skin and usually avoiding heavy creams, this richer formula didn't worsen my blemishes.
