The fragrance might be a bit strong at first, but it fades quickly. The cream absorbs well and has a nice texture. In winter, its hydrating power is a bit weak, so I need to layer it with other moisturizers. - ra*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 4, 2025
I'd recommend this as a spring or summer product. The hydration is a bit light, so I use it occasionally on my child for a refreshing change. Due to its moderate moisturizing power, I mix it with Atopalm cream. In summer, I use it on its own. Because of the fragrance, it's not ideal for frequent use on kids. However, the scent is what makes this product irresistible and keeps me coming back for more. It lacks in moisturizing power. That's why I mix it with the Atopalm cream I'm currently using. I apply it all over the body. I blend it with other creams to boost its hydration. - ro*****Combination SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2025
I tried this on my newborn's scalp to address flaky skin, and it really cleaned up their scalp nicely. While it's great that it didn't cause any blemishes, the only downside is the high price tag. Since it's marketed as a "1000-day shampoo," I plan to use it consistently for the long haul. - ma******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2025
It has a smooth, easy-to-apply texture. I was satisfied with the fragrance as well. It seems to be quickly absorbed. It seems suitable for use in spring and summer. Acquaintances sensitive to fragrances often cite the product's distinctive scent as a drawback. - ky*****Normal SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2025
I used this as a baby body emulsion. Here's what I liked: 1. Hydration It's really moisturizing. The emulsion has a slightly rich texture, but it leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated for a long time. 2. Fragrance The scent is lovely. If you enjoy scented body emulsions, you'll probably like this one. 3. Absorption Despite its somewhat heavier texture, it absorbs well into the skin. It was great for massaging in generously all over the body. Room for improvement: 1. Fragrance I think personal preference plays a big role when it comes to scents. While I liked the fragrance itself, I felt the concentration was a bit strong for my taste. - ha********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 7, 2025
My child loves the scent, but I think it might be a matter of personal preference I wish it was a bit more hydrating and had better moisturizing properties - wl*******Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 21, 2025
1. Hydrating ingredients: Contains plant-based oils and vitamin E, providing deep hydration and nourishment to the skin. 2. Gentle formula: Allergy-tested product, ensuring safety and suitability for baby's skin. 3. Light feel: Absorbs quickly with a lightweight texture, leaving skin soft without any sticky residue. Advantages: - Skin protection: Strengthens the skin barrier and shields against external irritants. - Fragrance: Has a subtle scent that leaves you feeling refreshed after use. - Ease of use: Comes in a pump bottle for convenient application. Conclusion: Mustela Body Emulsion is an excellent product with superior moisturizing power and safety for babies and sensitive skin. It's especially recommended for parents who want to protect and keep their baby's skin hydrated. Going beyond basic moisturization, it's effective in strengthening the skin barrier, making it suitable for the whole family. Drawbacks: - Price: It's somewhat more expensive compared to other regular body emulsions. - Volume: The amount may run out quickly if used frequently. - by*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2024
The pump bottle makes it convenient to apply after changing diapers or bathing the baby. The texture isn't too runny, so the moisturizing effect seems to last longer. The price is reasonable for the amount you get. While the pump bottle is easy to use, it's inconvenient when there's a small amount left, as you have to flip it upside down to get the remaining product. Since it's a baby product, I think it could do without fragrance, so it's a bit disappointing that it has a scent. - ha********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 9, 2024
I've been using this since my baby was born. It has a lovely scent and absorbs really well. I can't think of any downsides. If I had to pick something, maybe the price...??????????????? - db*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 15, 2024
After using Mustela Hydra Bebe Body Emulsion for 11 months, here's my review! While raising a baby, I've tried various products, but this emulsion has been truly satisfying. First and foremost, what I loved most was how gentle it is on the skin. Baby skin is incredibly delicate, and this emulsion, made with naturally-derived ingredients, gave me peace of mind when using it! Its excellent hydration kept my baby's skin moisturized, which was especially helpful in preventing dryness during winter months. After application, it absorbs well without feeling greasy, so my little one didn't seem uncomfortable at all. Additionally, the emulsion has a pleasantly subtle fragrance. While strong scents aren't good for babies, this product had a soft, comforting aroma. It made our daily application routine such a joy! The emulsion is a bit runny, so sometimes too much would come out even with a gentle squeeze. This aspect required extra care when using it! I also thought the bottle could have a better grip. It would be great if the design could be improved to prevent slipping during application. I discovered that applying the emulsion when the baby's skin is still slightly damp after a bath improves absorption! This method maximizes the moisturizing effect and helps keep the baby's skin even more hydrated. Also, warming the emulsion slightly in your hands before applying can make it feel more comfortable for your little one.
