For those with dry skin, it lacks sufficient hydration. Sometimes, after applying it in the evening post-shower, I wake up in the morning with dry, itchy skin. The moisturizing effect doesn't seem to last very long.

I thought the body emulsion named 'Cheon Song-yi Rose' would smell like the rose oil I brought from Turkey, but it doesn't! The rose scent is a bit lacking. However, the ingredients are great, and it's not sticky when applied, so you can put on clothes right away without any discomfort. It's perfect for light application year-round, except maybe in the dead of winter. It also works wonderfully as a hand emulsion without feeling oily.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I found this gentle and non-irritating. It's a bit dry for winter use, but the oil and moisture balance wasn't bad, and the scent is quite nice.

The price is quite high, probably because it's imported and packed with truly good ingredients in a vegan product.

This Andalou product has a truly wonderful scent. As the name 'Thousand Petals Rose' suggests, it has a subtle and pleasant floral fragrance as its base! With its slightly acidic pH and excellent hydration, plus being vegan, it really doesn't miss a beat. Its gentleness makes it great for the whole family to use, even in households with children! The outstanding oil and moisture balance leaves your skin feeling genuinely moisturized even after showering, and the fragrance gives it an aromatherapy-like quality! When applied, it absorbs well and isn't sticky at all, which I found thoroughly satisfying overall. I love it so much I want to buy the larger size! My 7-year-old said it smells incredibly happy, which made me feel great about using it together.

The scent when applying is a bit of an issue... When I first squeezed it out and smelled it, it was lovely like Santa Maria Novella rose water. But when spreading and rubbing it in, there's this medicinal, dizzying smell. The medicinal scent seems to make even the rose fragrance unpleasant. After a while, though, that problematic scent disappears, leaving behind a fresh rose aroma.

First off, it spreads well without feeling too rich, which is great. The finish is absolutely perfect. It dries to a soft, powdery feel without any tightness, making it ideal even for summer! The oil and moisture balance is quite good too. While the scent isn't pleasant when applying, after a while it leaves a subtle powdery fresh rose fragrance on the skin. I generally prefer unscented body emulsions, but this level is acceptable. Still, I wouldn't want to use it daily, haha!
