The essence content is generous! It's packed with a viscous white essence. The sheet is OEKO-TEX certified (1st class certified plant-derived microfiber fabric), and while it's soft, it's not a thin mask. The mask is large enough that men can use it comfortably too. It has a strong characteristic scent due to the Centella Asiatica extract (1,000 ppm). This mask seems to offer great value for money.

I haven't found any downsides yet. It even worked well for my atopic skin.

If you have dry skin, you might feel a slight tingling sensation when you first apply the mask. That's just a sign of how much hydration it's packing! Great value for money and absolutely top-notch.

The Daiso Miracle

I've been trying various Daiso cosmetics, and when I saw their face mask for just 1000 won, I couldn't resist buying it for its bargain price.

And honestly... I'm thoroughly impressed.

When I opened it, I noticed the essence was quite thick... I thought, 'This is going to feel heavy, what should I do?' But I just applied it anyway. To my surprise, it wasn't heavy at all - it felt fresh! After removing the mask and gently patting my skin a few times, I could feel it absorbing well.

This quality for just a thousand won... It's unbelievable. Once I finish my current masks, I plan to stock up on these and use them regularly.

This product would be perfect to use during the summer!

I don't consider this a downside, but those with super sensitive skin who are sensitive to temperature changes might want to avoid it due to the cooling effect.

While searching for a mask pack, I stumbled upon this at Daiso. Hearing it was Daiso's version of Nature Republic, I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did! It's only 1000 won per sheet. When I took out the mask, I noticed the essence was an opaque white. As soon as I put it on my face, I could tell the sheet material was excellent! The thickness is just right, and it's soft with plenty of essence. It adheres well to the skin, and the size is generous enough that even men would be satisfied. I used it for 20 minutes, and despite my house being quite dry, the sheet didn't feel like it was drying out quickly. After a little while, I felt a cooling effect that quickly and noticeably lowered my skin temperature! When I removed the mask, my skin felt very hydrated, smooth, and moisturized. There was enough essence left to apply all over my body - the amount was very generous. It wasn't sticky and absorbed quickly. I didn't experience any blemishes, and the overall feel was nice, so I think it would suit all skin types. If I find myself at Daiso again, I'll definitely pick up more!

If only Daiso was in my neighborhood, I would have bought these more often... The nearest Daiso is a 40-minute round trip away... Daiso should implement a 'one Daiso per district' policy!

I think I won't need to go all the way to Olive Young to buy sheet masks anymore. I'd give the mask itself 4 stars, but the value for money at just 1000 won is simply overwhelming...

If the Botanical Garden Aloe Mask feels similar to the fresh and hydrating Bring Green/(formerly) Nature Republic sheet masks, then the Centella Mask is comparable in quality to the 1000-2000 won emulsion sheet masks you'd find in road shops or Olive Young.

The back of the package boasts about being a highly nourishing emulsion or something, but honestly, it's not quite at that level... For oily skin, it provides a good level of hydration suitable for winter use. 
It feels a bit rich, but it didn't cause any blemishes. Instead, it left my skin feeling moisturized and soft. After removing it, I didn't need to apply much cream, as it provided sufficient hydration. (Based on oily skin type)

The sheet material isn't like those cheap non-woven fabrics from the old days. It's a plant-based fabric that adheres well and feels plump, just like the ones you'd buy from Olive Young. It would have been perfect if it had eye hole cutouts.

While Mediheal's Watermide/Tea Tree sheet masks are the holy grail, they have a water-based essence, so I needed to apply more cream in winter. The Botanical Garden mask, however, keeps my skin moisturized for longer with just the mask alone. Of course, Mediheal's Placenta sheet mask is also very hydrating, but it doesn't go on sale as often as the Watermide/Tea Tree ones.

As someone with blemish-prone skin, I'm not sure if it actually soothes. The mask sheet is large, which is nice, but it's almost too big. Also, when wearing it, there's a slight burning sensation, suggesting it might be a bit irritating.

An affordable and cost-effective mask. It's hydrating and packed with plenty of essence, making it great for daily use. While it's more about moisturizing than soothing, it absorbs well without feeling sticky.
