  The product absorbs smoothly and has a soothing effect, making it comfortable to apply around the eyes frequently. Plus, being in stick form, you can use it without getting your hands messy.

  Cons

  This isn't really a drawback of the product, but it's the dead of winter now, and the hydration might be a bit light if you use this alone.

  Tip

  Pros

  The Hwahae Testers love the Cynic brand for its economical prices and gentle ingredients. I'm using several of their products like toner, essence, and sunscreen. I also picked up their soothing stick during a sale. It's a convenient size for carrying around (slightly larger than a lipstick?), perfect for popping in your bag or pocket. These days, I keep it on my desk at the office where the heater is always on. First off, it's virtually oil-free - a true soothing stick! It's lightweight even with multiple applications and doesn't leave a greasy feeling, which I love. The ingredients are said to have calming and cooling effects. I've been applying it to my dry under-eye area, crow's feet, smile lines, and around my mouth. The stick format makes it easy to glide on smoothly. There's no strong scent, so you can apply it after makeup, though it might cause some foundation to bunch up or come off. On days without appointments, when I'm wearing light makeup, I just swipe it on without worrying!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it's a bit lacking when I use it under the office heating system where my face feels hot and extremely dry. It seems like a somewhat light product for winter. It might be more beneficial in spring and summer for its cooling effect.

  Tip

  Be careful not to rub too much as it may remove your makeup. Just glide it on gently, then pat with your fingertips to help it absorb. And don't forget to stock up during sales!

  Pros

  As someone with oily skin, I've always found Gahee products too greasy, but I was curious about this one. The instant cooling effect and hydration are nice. It seems perfect for summer touch-ups - wipe with a pad, then apply this. The immediate moisturizing sensation is good, leaving a satin-like finish rather than lasting hydration. I'm currently using it around my mouth after brushing teeth when it feels dry.

  Cons

  As mentioned above, it's too light for winter use. This is definitely a summer must-have.
