The large applicator allows for quick, even application. It leaves a moisturizing finish with a glass-like glow. However, there are some downsides that are the main focus, so please check those out. The applicator is designed to catch on the bottle opening, but within less than a month of use, all the bristles on the sides that catch have fallen out. Even worse, these loose bristles are floating everywhere in the oil-based product. When I contacted customer service, they said it's normal due to the large applicator size and that it's harmless to the body. Since it's a lip product that could be ingested during daily use, I asked about the applicator material when they claimed it was harmless. They said they'd need to check with the relevant department and get back to me about the material. It's great that it's moisturizing without being too sticky. The color payoff is subtle and natural. The staying power is poor - it comes off easily when eating. During seasons when lips feel tight, I apply a treatment or lip balm, then finish with a lip oil. Clarins lip oil has a pleasant scent and a rich texture without being too sticky. The oil texture forms a thin barrier over lip balm or treatments, preventing them from evaporating quickly and maintaining moisture for longer. It feels as hydrating as a lip balm and stays on the lips for a good while. It leaves a honey-like glow and glass-like shine, making lips look plump and bouncy. I could use it with peace of mind as it didn't cause any blemishes, tingling, or redness during use. The color intensifies over time, so repeatedly reapplying can lead to disappointment.

The color isn't too intense, so it's perfect to layer over a water tint for a hydrated, lovely look. Well, I think there's practically no color payoff. It's an oil, so it's moisturizing without being sticky. I love the fresh, sweet scent. The color is almost transparent. The only downside might be that the tip is thick and large, so it tends to get product around the opening. I love how moisturizing it is! It has a lovely sweet scent too. Being colorless, it's suitable for all skin tones. I was surprised it was colorless at first, but I'm using it like a lip balm now.
