So I thought the oil balm wouldn't suit me, but it applies smoothly and makes my skin feel soft and smooth. I think it will be great for moisturizing in the winter. These days when my face and neck are dry, I apply it and sleep, and my skin looks better the next day. And it's not sticky, which I like.
ConsThe scent is like a herbal one, so it might be divisive. Personally, I don't mind it. As it's an oil balm, I don't reach for it much in the summer. But I use it a lot during the winter.
TipI also have a tendency for chapped lips, so I recommend applying it thoroughly to your lips as well.

I'm quite sensitive, so I don't usually use oils on my face, but I tried it on the driest part of my face, the butterfly zone, to review it. There were no breakouts, probably because there are no bad ingredients! It spreads so smoothly and melts in easily when massaged. There's no stickiness and it feels very lightweight. Even in the summer, areas like the butterfly zone, elbows, heels, and toenails can get dry, and it was great to be able to apply it only where needed. It really helped diminish the flakiness. I think it will be even better to use in the winter! And a little goes a long way - I feel like I can use this until next winter. The spatula that came with it is also great for hygiene and easy application.
ConsI liked everything else, but the scent is not quite my preference. It's similar to the blackhead balm oil I used to use, and I was a bit surprised by that. Do most oil balms have a similar smell?
TipI think this would be great for dry-skinned folks, especially in the winter, for the face and multiple body areas.

It melted well without the need for an intermediate melting process. 2. Despite being an oil, it was not sticky or overly oily, which was good for the skin. 3. The fragrance was close to being fragrance-free, which was nice. 4. The texture and application feel were good.
Cons1. Not suitable for daily use 2. It may be good for targeted areas (e.g., lips, elbows) but could potentially clog pores if used in other areas.

So it was good, and it melted softly like a sorbet, so I was surprised that it wasn't too sticky. Since I tend to be on the dry side, I mainly use oil-based products, and while I've tried various ones, most of them leave a greasy feeling on my hands, so I found this product more convenient and better than liquid oils.
ConsSince this is a balm, the packaging is squeezed, so it may be less hygienic than using a product with a dispenser. However, there is a spatula, so you can scoop it out and use it hygienically until the end.
TipBe sure to use the spatula rather than applying it with your hands. You can apply it hygienically without getting it on your hands, and it melts quickly on the skin. Oil balms can be difficult to use hygienically until the end.

I was initially worried about using it in the summer, as the Vaseline-like appearance made me a bit apprehensive. But when I applied it, I found that it absorbed into an oil-like texture without any stickiness as I spread it out. The application felt comfortable without any heaviness. It's quite absorbent, so among similar products, this one feels less burdensome to use currently. During this season when air conditioning can dry out the skin, you can mix a small amount into your basic skincare or makeup products to replenish the moisture. It doesn't feel tight and leaves the skin feeling comfortable. Most importantly, it doesn't feel sticky at all. I've been applying small amounts to chronically dry areas on my body, and it doesn't leave a tacky residue on my clothes.
ConsThe price is a bit on the higher side, but if you catch it on sale or time your purchase well, it seems like a versatile multi-purpose item worth keeping on your vanity. The packaging is a bit disappointing - it's a twist-top jar, and with the oily balm texture, it can get a bit messy when closing it, especially as the product softens with body heat. The container also tends to get slippery as you use it. While you get the hang of managing it, a one-touch opening mechanism might have been more convenient.
TipIf you find even a small amount of oil burdensome for your summer skincare routine, try mixing just a tiny bit into your makeup products. It will melt in seamlessly without any caking or pilling.

This product was exactly what I was looking for - I loved it so much! The ingredients are great, and even though it's a balm, it's not heavy at all. When you apply it, it melts into a light, moisturizing coating that feels so nice~ It's hydrating but not at all sticky, with just a subtle oil-like feel. On days when my skin was sensitive and reddened due to its condition, applying this didn't irritate it at all! And I had no issues with breakouts whatsoever. After applying all my other skincare, I'd gently pat a small amount onto the fine lines around my eyes and neck, and the next morning, there was still a lovely, protective layer of moisture left behind. I really enjoyed that!
ConsUnfortunately, I didn't like the scent at all ㅠ Reactions to fragrance can be really hit or miss, so while some reviews said the smell was fine, it just didn't work for me. It had an oily kind of smell that I didn't enjoy...
TipUse as a cuticle oil Use on elbows or heels

The 40g volume is not quite clear whether it is large or small, but after testing the balm on the back of my hand, I found that a small amount was sufficient to provide adequate moisturization. Among the oils, some can be heavy or slightly sticky, but this one is completely non-sticky and lightweight. The word 'silky' perfectly describes the feel of it. If you have dry skin, you can use this regularly, and if you have oily or dehydrated skin, you can apply it right after showering when your skin feels stripped of moisture. Or, you can use it as an overnight treatment, applying it generously to your face and neck before bed for a glowing complexion in the morning. By the way, even though I have oily skin, I did not experience any breakouts.
ConsYou know the natural scent that's characteristic of beeswax? I have a feeling there might be some love-hate reactions to the Burt's Bees lip balm-esque fragrance.
TipBut no matter how I think about it, my elbows and heels seem to like it even more.
