I'm comfortable using both foundation and cushions, but after trying various products, I've found that some really don't work for me. I have strong preferences, so I've settled on using two or three products regularly. The finish is more smooth than silky. It works better with a dense foundation brush (round or square) than with a puff or fingers. This foundation has more cons than pros... I recommend following the tips for best use.
ConsFor shades 21-22, even shade 3 is quite light, but it's less pale than the shade 1 range, so I mainly use shade 3. Since the Power Fabric+ reformulation, it feels very silicone-like when applied as a primer. Unlike a concealer that's used for spot coverage, this is meant to be applied all over the face, which seems to reduce its adherence to the skin. Compared to other Armani foundations like Lasting Silk or Designer Lift, it applies much thicker. Even if the color seems similar, it quickly becomes heavy and looks like it's floating on the skin. I definitely recommend mixing it with other foundations.
TipIf you mix it with Hera Silky Stay in a 3:1 ratio, the staying power is incredible - it lasts all day. But using it alone? I just don't understand why it performs so differently...
