It's especially effective around the eyes and lips, gently wiping away product. The pad has both an embossed side and a soft side. As I have sensitive skin, I stick to the soft side. Gently wiping with it not only cleanses but also seems to exfoliate dead skin cells, leaving my skin incredibly smooth. I thought it might be my imagination, but it's for real! The plastic tweezers that come with the product are surprisingly sturdy and grip the cotton pads well.
ConsAs expected from cleansing water pads, you'll need about 3-4 sheets to remove makeup as thoroughly as an oil cleanser would. However, using that many might be too harsh for my skin. I tried using the embossed side once, and my skin turned red. It's a bit irritating for sensitive skin.
TipThese pads work great with a galvanic device on cleansing mode. I originally bought them for this purpose, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how moisturizing the pads themselves are!

It effectively removes sebum and cleans out pores like a charm.
ConsOn days when my skin feels sensitive, the pad can feel a bit rough. In those cases, I just use a gentler touch and wipe very softly.

But the embossed side seems to cleanse a bit more thoroughly. Anyway, the cleansing liquid is super refreshing and hydrating. It's definitely something you'd reach for often in summer! It contains plant-based salicylic acid, which is said to help with excess sebum and dead skin cells. From my experience, these pads cleanse really well! They're gentle yet effective! I love that they're mild but still feel refreshing and moisturizing. The embossed side seems to remove dead skin cells and impurities more thoroughly, so I definitely recommend these as cleansing pads.
ConsWhile it removes most makeup well, you might need to rub a bit harder to completely remove super long-lasting products like mascara. I'd recommend letting it sit on the skin for a moment before wiping. The pads are absolutely soaked in the cleansing water, so make sure to close your eyes tightly and wipe downwards under your eyes. There's a high chance of the liquid squeezing out and getting into your eyes otherwise!
