Easy to apply due to its light consistency. It doesn't dry out the skin or leave a tight feeling, but instead creates a protective layer, making it perfect for nighttime use. You can see results even with minimal use. The essence-like texture means you need to shake it before use, otherwise it won't come out. It feels a bit heavy on the skin. Immediately after application, my lips experienced a burning sensation and my face became itchy. I had an allergic reaction and my skin flared up.

After cleansing, I first apply a boosting essence, then this product. Instead of wasting it by dispensing into my hands, I shake it directly onto my face. Despite being a toner, it doesn't feel like it'll run out quickly due to its rich consistency - a little goes a long way, leaving your face looking like a glazed donut. As advertised, there's a subtle cooling sensation. It's not an intense menthol-like 'Wow, that's cool!' feeling, but a gentle, barely noticeable refreshing effect. I assumed all hanbang cosmetics would have a warm quality and feel cozy when applied, but this was quite the opposite - a pleasant surprise. Among the Sosaeng line, this product had the strongest hanbang scent. While Sosaeng products generally don't have an overpowering hanbang smell, this essence has a notably strong aroma as soon as it touches your face. So, be cautious if you're sensitive to scents. Although it absorbs slowly, it helps maintain skin hydration effectively. I'd highly recommend this product for dry skin types. Especially if you find that nothing seems to address your deep dryness, switching your toner to this product would be a wise choice. While other products have pumps, this one doesn't. The glass bottle makes it heavy to shake and use. Although it's technically a toner, I wish they had added a pump to make it more user-friendly and hygienic. For best results, generously apply it to your face, then use a beauty device set to absorption mode. Gently roll from the inside of your face outwards for 5 minutes to enhance penetration.
