  Pros

  First off, I love how large these toner pads are - one sheet is more than enough for a thorough application! What impressed me most was how the embossed side seemed to gently exfoliate, leaving my skin feeling incredibly smooth after use. That was definitely my favorite aspect. When you place the reverse side on your skin and then remove it, it leaves your face feeling wonderfully hydrated. Even without refrigeration, these pads have a pleasant cooling effect, which I imagine would be even more appreciated in summer. The included tweezers that can be stored in the lid are a convenient touch too!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, the pads don't seem to have quite enough essence. When I tried to leave them on my cheeks, they didn't adhere completely and started drying out from the edges pretty quickly. I really wish they were a bit more saturated with essence...

  Pros

  The biggest advantage of this product is the large size of the pads. The product itself isn't too harsh, which I really appreciate. The packaging is pleasantly simple too. When used as a skin pack, because the pads are so big, about 3 sheets are enough to cover most problem areas, so I've been using it with satisfaction.

  Cons

  The downside is that there's not much ampoule, so the pads dry out quickly. Even though the ingredients are supposed to be gentle, there are still some potentially irritating components. Maybe that's why, but there's just not enough essence. The fact that there are only 70 pads is also a bit disappointing...

  Tip

  For a cooling effect, try putting the pads in the fridge about 10 minutes before use. Rather than using them as toner pads, think of them as a way to refine your skin texture after cleansing. Use them with a light touch, and you should be able to use them without much trouble. It should work well for hydration, similar to the liquid toner you're already using.

These fit the bill perfectly, which is why I find myself reaching for them often!

  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and received the product on October 19th. After using it for about a week, here's my review. Skin type: Combination oily, especially prone to excess oil on the nose! Texture: Thick, wide pads with an embossed surface, soaked in a water-based essence. Ingredients: Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious. I experienced a slight tingling sensation. Scent: Not unscented, but not an overpowering cosmetic fragrance either. Just a subtle aroma... Firstly, I appreciated the sturdy packaging. The click-open lid with a fixed tweezer inside allows for hygienic storage, which is great. The essence feels refreshing rather than greasy, making it suitable even for those with oily skin! However, those with sensitive skin might want to patch test first. True to its name, it seems effective for dead skin cell removal. I was satisfied that there was no white cast when applying makeup after using this product.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if it's just the product I received, but the amount of essence is extremely low. Other toner pads usually have at least a bit of liquid visible at the bottom, but this one had none. I'm worried it might dry out before I finish using them all.

  Tip

  I wouldn't recommend using these as a mask. Given their thickness, it's much better to use them for wiping rather than leaving them on for absorption.

Texture The pads are soaked in essence, making them perfect as an exfoliating toner after morning cleansing! However, I did apply a separate toner afterward. 3. Scent The fragrance is so subtle it's barely noticeable, making it comfortable to use! 4. Trustworthiness Knowing it's VEGAN & PETA certified definitely increased my confidence in the product!

  1. Potential Irritants I have a friend who's sensitive to AHA or BHA, so those with similar sensitivities should use this product with caution. 2. Essence Quantity Like most pad products, the amount of essence feels a bit lacking for daily mask use, and it dries out quickly. (See the last photo for reference)

  Packaging: The included pad tweezers make it more hygienic than grabbing with your hands! There's a tweezer holder on the lid, though it doesn't seem to lock in place securely. Honestly, I find using the tweezers a bit of a hassle, so I just use my hands. Usage: The pads are generously sized (compare to the fist in the photo), perfect for covering the cheeks! I'm prone to dead skin cells and excess sebum, but I didn't experience any tingling sensation. While I don't use it daily, I apply it 2-3 times a week after heavy makeup or when my skin feels rough. I have sensitive skin, so I gently wipe my nose and chin with the textured side and use the smooth side for the rest of my face - I didn't feel much irritation at all! Cleansing effectiveness: I have large pores on my nose, and sometimes thick makeup doesn't cleanse properly. But with these pads, I could visually see how clean my skin became!

  The pads don't seem to contain much essence, so they dry out quickly. I wish they were more saturated!

  Tip

  For reference, I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and normal skin elsewhere, and I'm quite sensitive to irritation. I use the textured side only on my T-zone and gently swipe the smooth side over the rest of my face, then leave it on for a moment. This method worked well for me without causing any irritation. If you have similar skin, I recommend trying this technique!

  The pads are larger compared to other products, so you feel like you're getting good care with just a few swipes across your face. I also liked that it comes with tweezers - it's handy for picking up each pad. The embossed side and the smooth side allow you to choose between more intensive care for areas like the chin and nose, or gentler treatment for sensitive areas. After cleansing, I found that wiping my face along the skin's texture with one pad left it feeling hydrated even without applying toner or emulsion afterward. Despite having sensitive, dry skin, I didn't experience any tightness or itching, which was great.

  There's not really anything to complain about. The hydration level is just right for using one pad at a time, but I wonder if they might dry out if you keep opening and closing the package. Once pads dry out, they lose their effectiveness.

  Tip

  I found it works well to first wipe with the embossed side, then leave it on areas like the nose and chin for a bit, before using the soft side to wipe the entire face again. Even after this, the pad is still moist enough to wipe areas like elbows or cheekbones before discarding.
