Surprisingly, it lathers up really well and has great cleansing effectiveness! Oh, and even without using conditioner, my hair felt soft and nice after drying. My scalp tends to get dry if cleansing ingredients don't agree with it or if a product strips away too much oil. But I didn't have any of those issues with this. What's more, it's not just a pH-balanced shampoo, but a pH-balanced shampoo bar! I found that quite fascinating. All in all, this product worked really well for me. The scent...! It would be even better if they could create a fragrance without artificial perfumes. That being said, it was quite an amusing experience to have someone stop me on the street to ask what perfume I was wearing! + In my opinion, the scent is a tad strong. While it's described as a sweet floral something-or-other, to me it smells more like baby powder. If you're a fan of perfumed shampoos, you'll probably be quite satisfied with this. The fragrance is strong and pleasant. It eliminates scalp odor too. After using the larger size, I bought many mini sizes for portability. I was satisfied throughout my use, but when I alternated it with a hair loss shampoo, I started getting one or two inflammations on my scalp. I'm not sure why this happened.
