  While it doesn't dramatically dissolve sebum right before your eyes, it's excellent for breaking down blackheads and other forms of excess oil!

  Cons

  Results may vary from person to person, but I didn't experience the dramatic effects shown in advertisements. However, I use it with a pore extractor tool, and there's a noticeable difference in extraction effectiveness when using the pad versus not using it. It allows for gentler extractions without irritation.

  Tip

  I noticed that Olive Young sells this as part of an extraction swab set. Using such gentle extraction tools is recommended. Afterwards, I follow up with a green tomato ampoule to help minimize pores.

  Cons

  The pads are too large to use whole on areas like the nose, between eyebrows, or chin, so you need to cut them in half. Also, 15 minutes doesn't seem enough for sebum extraction, so I leave them on longer. Be cautious though, as they can be a bit harsh and may cause blemishes if used too frequently.

  Pros

  This works even better than getting extractions at the dermatologist! I cut the sheet in half and leave it on my nose and chin for about 10 minutes. Then I use an extractor tool, and the blackheads just glide right out. It's truly amazing how well it cleans out the pores. I've never seen anything remove sebum this effectively before!

  Cons

  If you don't have many blackheads, be careful as this product might be too strong. Use with caution.

  This product I bought after seeing an ad is fantastic for sebum softening! I use it especially on days when whiteheads on my nose are more noticeable. The pads are incredibly hydrating - so much so that they're almost dripping wet when you place them on your skin. Despite being fragrance-free and effective at sebum softening, it doesn't cause much irritation to the skin.

  Cons

  It's not as miraculous as the advertisement suggests. You still need to manually extract the softened sebum. However, it's more effective than other blackhead products I've tried.

  Tip

  For double the effectiveness, use these pads to soften sebum, then follow up with an electric pore cleaner!

  Pros

  I tried this product because I usually have a lot of blackheads and sebum buildup on my nose. After showering or washing my face, I apply it directly to my nose and peel it off after 10-15 minutes. The sebum comes out swollen! When I wipe it off, the bumpy texture I used to feel seems to disappear completely.

  Cons

  It doesn't seem to work as well on deeply embedded blackheads. However, it's very effective at removing sebum. I'll try using a steam towel to open up my pores first and see if that helps with the blackheads too.
