The old version is far superior to the new one. It's characterized by a much cooler tone and better texture. If you have a light undertone, I highly recommend having at least one of these in your collection. There's nothing particularly bad about it. The most notable issue is that the reason for the product renewal is incomprehensible. I sincerely wish they would bring back the original version. - ye******Combination SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJul 29, 2024
As someone with a light undertone, I love that this collection features pink to lavender shades that complement my complexion perfectly The lighter shades suitable for base colors don't show up well and there's some excess powder fallout - ys*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2024
(The photo shows Clinique Ballerina Pop / Pure Lavender Blurring / Color Gram Mysterious Formula shades.) The colors in the photo appear slightly more saturated than in real life. 1. Light, delicate shades! 2. Minimal redness, creating a soft and dreamy complexion 1. The gray/shadow colors look quite similar. Careful application is needed to avoid a muddy look. 2. Those with deeper skin tones might find these shades too bright 3. The darkest brown shade is too light, so I rarely use it! 4. Applying just two shades to the eyes seems to work best for a clean look. It seems I've listed quite a few drawbacks, but I'm actually satisfied because there aren't many light, clear, and warm shades like these available. - yo*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedMar 9, 2024
This palette is my top choice for winter-like looks and second best for light undertones. It suits me perfectly! The excess powder fallout is quite significant. Also, the scent is rather heavy and powdery, which I find unpleasant. - ks*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 26, 2024
This palette seems perfect for those with cool undertones! The staying power is great, and it's suitable for both everyday makeup and when you want to glam it up. The application feels slightly lacking in smoothness. - sj*******Combination SkinRecommendedJan 11, 2024
When I first received it, I was unsure how to use it due to the cool-toned colors and gray shades, but now I'm absolutely loving it! The mixing potential gives it top marks for versatility. With this single palette, I can do my eyes, aegyo-sal, contouring, highlighting, lip blending, and blushing. It's so convenient for going out as it significantly reduces the amount of makeup I need to carry. 1. Sunshine: Chunky glitter 2. Pure: What I consider the palette's best feature. It's a white shade with a hint of pink, perfect as a matte highlighter. Great for daily aegyo-sal, nose bridge highlighting, and brightening dark circles, nasolabial folds, and areas with pigmentation. It really refines your makeup. 12. Light Gray: A game-changer that can cool down warmer eyeshadows, making them wearable for cool-toned skin If only it had one more deep shade, it would've been the perfect palette for eyebrows and eyeliner blending too For a face-slimming blush technique, apply shades 2 and 8 on your cheekbones, and 6 and 7 on the apples of your cheeks - wy********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2023
Even though it's popular among cool-toned folks, it worked great for me with my deep undertone light complexion! I was really satisfied with the collection of strawberry milk shades I wanted. The colors are generally soft, making it perfect for subtle makeup looks. I've used this product frequently for light, natural makeup. There's a slight excess of powder, so you need to tap it off once before using. - ji*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsMay 3, 2023
This would be perfect for those with a naturally bright complexion! As someone with a 21-22 shade skin tone, I found the colors appeared much lighter than expected when applied. This made it difficult to create depth and dimension, as the pigments seemed to just sit on top of my skin. Even the darker shades turned out too light, making the overall effect underwhelming. Unfortunately, when I tried to layer it, the product made the skin around my eyes feel dry and patchy. Due to its light and bright nature, I discovered it works great as a brightening moisturizer! - ju********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2023
If you're a light summer cool tone and pink doesn't suit you, then this lavender color is an absolute must-have. For those of us struggling to find flattering shades - where greyish tones make our face look dull, and pink shades appear too stark - this light lavender eyeshadow is the perfect solution. I've been searching for exactly this, and here it is! Color: The overall palette has a light tone, reminiscent of strawberry milk, milky lavender, and grayish hues - perfect for summer cool tones. While predominantly light, it includes a couple of grey shades, allowing for a muted look when blended well. Application: It applies thinly on the eyes, but don't mistake that for poor pigmentation. The colors layer beautifully without looking messy, creating a seamless finish. The shimmer adheres well too. I was worried about fallout, given my experience with Wake Make blushers, but thankfully, this palette doesn't have that issue. Shimmer: There are two shimmer shades - numbers 1 and 11. As someone with a light undertone who suits shimmery makeup more than dark colors, I almost wish there were three shimmer shades - they're that pretty! Shade 1 has a sparkling opal-like shimmer, perfect for accents, while 11 is more of a sheen, ideal for the aegyo-sal (under-eye area). I love using the shimmer all over my lids too - it looks so luxurious! The shimmers really suit my taste. Overall, this is a beautifully pearlescent eyeshadow palette that's perfect for light undertones, with great color-mixing potential. The biggest drawback of this product is undoubtedly the color selection. Color Range: There are too many similar shades. Out of this 12-pan palette, I only use 7 colors (1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11), leaving 5 unused. While I don't use the pinks (like 3 and 4) due to personal preference, I'm puzzled by the inclusion of two nearly identical grey shades. It would have been more useful to replace one of these with an eyeliner-smudging shadow. For a 12-pan palette, I'd expect to be able to complete a full eye look without reaching for another product. It's inconvenient to have to use a separate shadow for certain steps. Apart from this, I don't have any other complaints - which makes this issue all the more disappointing. - mi************Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 28, 2023
As someone with a light undertone, this is my holy grail product! I'm telling you, if you have a light undertone, you're missing out if you don't get this. My skin tends to be on the yellow side, but when I apply this lavender shade, it's a perfect match and looks absolutely gorgeous. I'm begging you, please buy it. The color is just too beautiful! There's quite a bit of excess powder that flies around when using it. However, the color is so pretty that I'm willing to overlook that and continue using it.
