When I take out a hoodie I sprayed the day before, the intoxicating lingering scent of Dirty hits me immediately.
If you spray it on clothes that have been heavily scented with fabric softener, the fabric softener scent tends to overpower it. It's a bit disappointing when using it with Downy.

At first, I was disappointed because it just smelled like spearmint gum.
The image I saw in the reviews was completely different - it just seemed to be a straightforward mint gum scent. But the lingering fragrance is really amazing.
The scent lasts longer when sprayed on clothes, so I spray it on both my clothes and skin. The lingering fragrance has a modern and casual feel to it.
