Typically, scalp shampoos leave the hair feeling stiff after washing, but this one rinses out cleanly without needing a conditioner. While I'll likely need to use a conditioner in the winter, during other seasons, this alone may be sufficient. As someone with an oily scalp, I always do a pre-shampoo cleanse when using a medicated shampoo. That way, I can ensure my scalp is deeply cleansed.
