Everything's either a knockoff or has unreliable reviews. Even when I search for American products, customer service eventually reveals they're from Germany or Indonesia. Ugh! Thankfully, my sister brought some back from her U.S. trip. Yay! Here's what's amazing about it: 1. The scent is incredible - it fills up the entire bathroom! No need for air fresheners. 2. It's not overly harsh or drying (though not extremely gentle either). 3. It has great cleansing effectiveness. I only have two bars, so I'm using them sparingly. It's just too good! The fragrance is lovely, and it lathers up creatively and smoothly. Let me share a real gem of a tip with you: It helps reduce scalp odor. Consider this my personal secret!
ConsIt's not extremely gentle, to be honest. If you need that, go for the Sensitive version. I chose the Original for its fantastic scent!
TipFolks, about that scalp odor... I've tried countless expensive perfumed shampoos and Aveda products. While it doesn't completely eliminate the issue, using a moisturizing soap that works well for you for just a week can significantly reduce scalp odor. I wash my hair in the evening, and in the morning, I only rinse my bangs before work. The scalp odor has decreased by more than half! Don't underestimate the power of a good bar of soap. I use Dove, pricier pH-balanced soaps, and those powder-scented ones for pregnant women and babies. They're great! Ivory is okay too, but slightly drying. I also use American Dial soap - it's perfect for occasional summer blemishes and as a hand sanitizer. Once I finish my expensive shampoos, I'd love to switch to soap completely. But it's challenging to find American products here, so I'm torn.
