I love that I can apply it with confidence even when my skin is super sensitive! It's non-irritating, and I always use it as the final step in my skincare routine. What's great is that it's not sticky at all, and thanks to the squalane, it leaves my skin feeling soft and velvety. The texture when I touch my skin after applying is simply amazing. Actually, just a couple of days ago, I tried a sample of La Roche-Posay serum or cream with niacinamide, and my skin completely flipped out. I've been struggling with irritation, rough skin texture, redness, and extreme dryness. But using this cream has been calming, moisturizing, and making my skin soft and hydrated. I'm slowly recovering. The hive-like bumps have subsided significantly, and the redness has noticeably reduced. The price is incredibly generous too - 100ml for just $20! The ingredients are so clean and great. To be honest, when I first researched squalane and various creams containing it, I didn't have high expectations when I bought this. But aside from the price, the product quality is outstanding. Among all the squalane creams I've tried, this is my holy grail!
ConsIt's a shame that the brand still seems quite unfamiliar, so there aren't many places to purchase it. It's especially challenging for me living in Melbourne, Australia. I had to order online, and the purchasing options are really limited.
TipCurrently, I'm also using Dajayeon Houttuynia Cordata Soothing Cream. All the products I'm using now can be applied without any irritation. After cleansing, without toner, I use: Isntree TW Serum -> Dajayeon Houttuynia Cordata Soothing Cream -> Neuli Squalane Cream as the final step I didn't realize it before, but this Dajayeon Houttuynia Cordata Soothing Cream contains all four types of cica (madecassoside, madecassic acid, asiatic acid, asiaticoside)! That's probably why I felt it was soothing when I first applied it when my skin was acting up. The Abib Houttuynia Cordata mask also contains all four cica ingredients! So sometimes I use the mask together with the cream.
