It's great for adding a light touch of hydration in summer. It's not sticky and leaves your skin feeling pleasantly moisturized. There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it might not be the best fit for those with very dry skin. - im********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 14, 2025
This product seems to be quite good. It applies well, and does not cake. There are no shortcomings. There are no harmful ingredients either. It is very good. - ph*****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 28, 2025
I've only been using it for about 2 weeks, but I'm already satisfied! The price is very affordable, and the collaboration of bifida ferment lysate and aloe vera makes it moisturizing. It takes a tiny bit of time to absorb when applied, but once it does, it feels like it's adhering to the skin nicely! As someone with extremely oily skin, acne scars, large pores, and excessive sebum production, I haven't experienced any blemishes or side effects after application, which suggests the ingredients are gentle. When I apply only this essence after toner, it feels moisturizing and firm, so I'm currently using it only in the evening! I follow up with a hydrating cream. So far, I haven't noticed any drawbacks. Although it's called a pore serum, cosmetics alone can't actually shrink pores... sigh. I've used it for 2 weeks but haven't found any cons yet. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. The price is so affordable that I use a generous 4 pumps on my forehead, cheeks, and chin. No need to be stingy with it! - qw***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I bought this serum because it was said to be effective for pores, and it turned out to be quite good. While it didn't have a dramatic effect, it did help control oil, preventing my pores from looking enlarged. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but the volume is a bit small. I checked the website and saw they have a larger size available too! - ki**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 17, 2025
I have super sensitive skin, but I was able to use this without any blemishes appearing. It's really gentle on my skin. I usually mix about two pumps of this serum with my regular 30ml ampoule. I used to have a lot of acne, which left me with enlarged pores. But after just a week of using this, I noticed a significant reduction in their appearance. I'm truly satisfied! I'm also very sensitive to fragrances, but I absolutely love the scent of this product. It's hard to describe exactly what it smells like, but it's so pleasant! I'm so happy with this serum that I plan to add it to all my ampoules from now on. There's honestly nothing bad to say about this product. - gk*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 13, 2025
It's a slightly transparent pore serum. I pump it once or twice and apply it to areas where I'm concerned about pores. There's barely any scent, but when you apply it, there's a slight tingling sensation on the skin. It's so subtle you might not notice if you're not paying attention. It's hard to expect any noticeable effects... I apply it thinking it's better than doing nothing at all. - ma******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 1, 2025
I've been using this as my first essence for about 4 months (without a toner). I've used it alongside or alternating with niacinamide, bakuchiol, and black caviar extracts. Among the bifida ferment essences I've tried, this product has the least sticky feel and absorbs the best. This is probably due to the ethanol content. For my skin (sensitive combination dehydrated, prone to heat, redness, and blemishes), ingredients like aloe and glycerin often cause dryness and don't suit me well. However, this product uniquely sinks in quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and helping other products absorb better. It definitely works as an effective booster. That said, it's not enough to use on its own. Since it absorbs so well without stickiness even in larger amounts, I pump it twice, pat it in gently, and then finish with an ampoule or cream. With niacinamide and jojoba extract included, I think it would work well with any skin type or product combination, except for very oily skin. You'll need to follow up with at least a moisturizing cream to feel like you've applied something, that's how light and fresh the texture is. As for pore-minimizing effects, my pores are too large to notice a difference, but if used correctly, it can reduce sebum production, making large pores appear less noticeable. After using a mask or deep cleansing, the vast expanse of my pores becomes quite apparent... When my skin is already irritated or feeling hot, applying this can sometimes make it feel very dry. I think this is due to the combined effect of alcohol and aloe. In fact, ingredients like aloe and glycerin don't really moisturize the skin, but rather draw in moisture from the surroundings. This can actually irritate skin that's already feeling hot, as it's essentially pulling moisture away from your skin. Add to that the evaporative effect of alcohol, and it can increase the sensation of heat. In these cases, it's better to use a more hydrating product instead of this one, or if you do use it, quickly follow up with a generous layer of moisturizer before your skin dries out. Because this product dries quickly, rubbing it in too much or patting too vigorously can cause irritation. Rather than applying multiple layers at once, I recommend moving on to the next step in your routine quickly before it dries. - so*******Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 22, 2024
It's nicely hydrating and worth using. I'm not sure about its effect on pores, but I apply it hoping for the best. When you put it on, you can feel a pleasant cooling effect. The alcohol scent is so strong that it can be startling if you smell it unexpectedly. It stings quite a bit when applied to irritated skin. I can't really tell if it's doing anything for my pores. Unfortunately, the packaging isn't recyclable. - rn**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 24, 2024
Among the pore serums I've tried, this one is the most hydrating. I'm not sure if it's because of the combination of retinal and niacinamide, but I felt like my pores were actually getting smaller. There's not really anything bad, but if I had to pick something, it would be the slight alcohol scent. However, even I, with my super sensitive nose, don't find it bothersome, so I think most people will be fine with it. You might get even better results if you mix this 1:1 with the niacinamide serum from the same brand! I'm not 100% certain, but that's how I've been using it... - pr*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 21, 2024
It absorbs well and I've been applying it consistently since I heard it's effective for pores... I'm not sure about the results yet... I just keep diligently applying it, thinking it's probably better than not using anything at all. There's also some irritation! A kind of burning sensation...?
